In Donnie Brasco, after Sonny Black hits Bruno Kirby (I can't remember his characters name)on the nose when he mentions more parking meter scams, Sonny says he needs to kick 50 large upstairs monthly or it's his arse on the line. Now I don't know how true that was for the real Sonny Black but it seems quite reasonable. Due to inflation this monthly figure would have gone up over the years.
