ok, this isn't really a quote by anyone in particular, but all the same i thought it was a great quote. I was watching the biography channel, and it was Frank Costello's biography. It was basically talking about one guy who ratted on loads of people and they were all sent to jail. Obviously 'the prime minister' couldn't have this, and even though the guy was guarded 24/7 on the tenth story(?) of some building, he was found on the sidewalk. (it's a long build up, i know)

He was described as the canary who could sing but couldn't fly.
