How can you forget the scene where Pesci beats down Don Rickles with the phone because he's in his way? Same scene, with "Take this stiff, and POUND it up your ass!" !!!

I always crack up at that part.

Hi,
I also like the scene where DeNiro asks the guy at the bar if he has lost his pen? The guy tries to impress his girlfriend and pays the price. Nicky beats him to a pulp with the pen. The guy is sobbing.

That was funny when he beat the shit out of rickles. Then he told the dealer to "take this card and stick it up your sisters ass"

Leonard: I dont know. See, I have this condition.
Teddy: Well, I hope its not as serious as his, 'cos this guy's dead.

Hi,
I also like the part where Nicky says to the guy who gambled his money away, "Just tell me that you gambled the money. You stupid bastard. I'll give you the money to turn the heat and hot water back on."

I hope it doesn't make me sound too weird but I like the part where Ace is "conversing" in the diner (or whatever it was) with Lester and then when Lester leaves he has him beat up. Shoulda just had him whacked and wouldn't have had to worry or deal with him anymore.

Hi,
Your not weird. That scene also sticks out in my head. Remember Nicky was in the car watching the whole thing go down.

I'm reading "Casino" right now and it isn't a bad book. Gives insight into the characters tha the movie doesn't.

I hope I really don't insult anyone (well guess I really don't care but am being polite) but One thing I like about the "Gangster" movies is that they aren't PC (Politically Censored) in ANY way. Everyone gets insulted equally! The reality of their lives is so outrageous that changing it on screen would take away from it.

Could you imagine GF 1 made today with some of the characters being changed around to be "Politically Sensitive"? That might make a whole interesting topic unto itself, maybe I'll post it!!!!

I know this is off topic, but I'm just curious. Didn't the character that De Niro played in Goodfellas (isn't he dead?) I thought I heard he died in prison. And what about Paulie. Did he die too?
