heh heh. yeah. his name was edgar and he was my my maternal grandpa's uncle. he lived in columbus and was old enough to fight in the first world war. he looks a lot less cool in other photos of him, but i liked how this one made him look like a gangster, so i drew a picture from it.

yeah. i was looking at my website stats the other day and saw that this site was ganking some bandwidth by linking a picture, so i thought i'd come and see what it was all about. i don't mind it being linked in a message board, but i thought i'd step in and take credit for drawing the picture.

and, i guess i stand (a little bit) corrected. i emailed my grandma to tell her about the picture, and she says she doesn't *think* uncle edgar was a gangster, but he definitely brewed his own hooch during prohibition. so maybe, after all...?
