Has anybody heard of the family they got in Jersey The de calvante family. I heard they hang out in peterstown in Elizabeth, New Jersey.

The DeCavalcante Family's head was Sam (the Plumber) DeCavalcante, so-called because his legit cover was a plumbing business in Kenilworth, NJ (about 5 miles from Elizabeth). After he was convicted of racketeering, he retired to Florida and turned the reins over to John Riggi, who's now in jail. The current head of the DeCavalcante Family is said to be John "Jackie Nose" D'Amico, a big pal of the late John Gotti. Labor rackets are the family's specialty.

So is the John "Jackie nose" D'Amico the same Jack D'Amico who helped Jr Gotti run the Gambinos when he was in prison? Hasn't been out of prison long himself.

Yes! Da Nose did 17 months on a bookmaking charge, and also served as one of those advising Jr. Gotti on the Family business before Jr. went away.
