No TIS, people don't even walk down the streets in AC. The Boardwalk during the day, yes. But not the streets.

There are no wedding chapels like those all over Vegas. I'm sure that several of the hotels do have them, but it's not advertised like it is in Vegas.

The Casinos are fun, but IMO they don't really have that Vegas feel to them. AC is a temporary fix for us on the East Coast who may get the Vegas itch every now and then but cannot get out to Vegas.

AC does attract some big name performers these days, but for the most part there really is no one in AC, like a Celine Dion or a Danny Gans who has a permanent home in a specific Hotel.

There is just something about the Vegas Hotels and Casinos that Atlantic city cannot compare to. It's just a different feel.

Also the Style, Decor and Size of the Vegas hotels blows away the AC hotels. For the most part the AC hotels are more similar to the old style Vegas Hotels in size and appearance.

The most modern Hotel that probably comes close to the newer styled Vegas hotels is The Borgata.

But personally my favorite AC hotel is Ballys. I feel that Ballys does have a touch of the Vegas atmosphere and they seem to have more of the Vegas genorousity and attitude towards their guests.

AC is a fun place if you love Casinos and gambling, and I enjoy going there. But as I tell many of my friends who often go to AC, "you haven't really experienced a gambling and entertainment town until you've experienced Las Vegas."

Vegas has the free spirited 24 hour party feeling when you are there. AC does not.

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. What happens in AC doesn't.
