1) Turnbull writes the script 2) Coppola is the director 3) No Leonardo Di Caprio 4) Pacino must be in it My far fetched requirement..... GF4 should be the first movie ever entirely made computer-generated. Before you guys scoff at this idea, let me explain my rationale..... No one will ever accept not having Brando or De Niro playing Vito Corleone. No one will ever accept someone one other than Pacino as Michael. No one will get over no James Caan or Robert Duvall. In 20 years, hopefully computer generated movies are mastered. AND.... They digitally record Brando's, De Niro's voice and recreate their voices. Use the 1st 3 films for models on how to recreate all the characters, etc. This way we get to see the same actors/actresses with a new story or continuation. However, this is a moot point because I am totally against computers/digital arts replacing actors. I am even against computer generated backgrounds. So, seriously No GF4 unless...see my 4 points at the top

I, for one would really value Turnbull's opinion as far as a GF4 goes. What do you say TB?? What do you think is needed for it to be successful? Or do you think it shouldn't be done at all? I don't think it should be called GF4, but I don't see why it can't relvove around a segment of the Corleone family's life. I don't know how old Michael was when he died in GFIII, but couldn't they go back and make a middle-aged Michael. Many actors play up to 10 years younger than there actual age. As far as that goes, what about DeNiro playing a 45ish Vito...just before GF 1? This does have possibilities I think. I am all for going back as opposed to going forward in the saga. I'm all for TB writing the script too. TIS

why don't we just say: "No GF4 Unless... - Mario Puzo writes it -Francis Ford Coppola directs -Nino Rota composes the music -Carmine Coppola arranges the tarantella's -Michael V.Gazzo conducts those tarantella's -Marlon Brando as Vito -Robert deNiro as Vito -John Cazale as Fredo -filming locations in NY and Sicily and Vegas -etc, etc, etc, etc.... you see? it's impossible.... not to make it, but to make it good. you need these ingredients, and that's Impossible... sorry to say it yes..

You see? It's also impossible for John Cazale and Brando, Rota, Carmine Coppola, Gazzo, and Puzo to work on it, too. I'm just thinking about the only possible way it could happen. In a perfect world, there would be no GF4 or new novel...that's how we'd all like it. It would be nice to see the Godfather through Turnbull's eyes though

never knew Brando was dead (????[/b][/quote]Oh, no, Brando is still alive. I'm just saying Brando can't work on it anyway because he's too old.
