Fantastic pictures JL! So close up. I don't blame you at all for being tempted to walk thru that gate. Only a true GF fan would understand just how awesome it would be. TIS

After looking closely at the real house I see I've never noticed the wood gate before (the one on which the "Beware of Dog" sign is posted). Here's JL's pic of the entranceway, and below is roughly the same view from the movie (thats Connie running into the house near the end of the film - you can clearly see the wood gate). ![[Linked Image]](http://photopile.com/photos/Consigliere/Family/166288.jpg) I love looking at the real-life scenes and comparing them.... thanks, again, JL.

I've heard that the location on Staten Island was, in fact, the location of the wedding scene. I've also heard that the compound is located on Long Island. In your photos, I don't see the area that served as the entrance to the compound (the spot where a chain stretched across when Michael returned with Clemenza and both learned that "we hit Bruno Tattaglia at 4 o'clock this morning"). I'm going to New York for the first time in 3 weeks and I'd love to visit the actual location. Which is it?

Thanks, JL. I can see exactly what you're referring to. I can't wait to go there in a few weeks.
