Precisely the reason why there should NOT be a Part IV. There's no way to guarantee something like that, alot of factors - including writing/directing/casting/acting, among others - would have to come into play and all fall together.

A few examples that there is no guarantee of what will or will not make a classic - It Happened One Night, Casablanca and The Godfather - none of which were thought of very highly during principal production.
