I just read that Joey is going on hiatus which is shop talk for canceled. I'm bettin' that Ade is not dead and will show up to pit Christopher against Tony. Whaddayathink?

I think Adrianna is definitely dead.

I really liked Adrianna, but I don't think she'll be back either.

Keep in mind that we never saw her hit. I think that was on purpose to provide a scenario for her possible return.

I think you have a better shot of seeing Matt Le Blanc playing Chris's new girlfriend, then Adrianna not being dead.

Just an observation, if I remember correctly, they never did show Adriana's body, nor did they show her actually get shot. We see her crawling, crying and screaming, then see Silvio shoot her right?

However, I can't see the Sopranos doing it was "all a dream" sequence ala Dallas. Unless Silvio was a terribly bad aim, or shot someone else who just happened to be in the woods :p , poor Aid is gone forever.

i think adriana's dead.. she's starring in matt le blanc's series called "joey", so i think she's been killed out of the soprano cast.. at least what the seems of it and all..

adriana is dead and gone...we've discussed this before. lol....i personally think she is gone, gone for good. silvio would not be sent to kill her and then not do it..it would be stupid on his part...very very stupid.

Well, as I stated in another Soprano topic post, I can visualize a scenario by which they bring her back. Picture this: a hospital corridor. The camera slowly moves down the corridor and stops in front of an open ICU room. There area couple of suited guys standing at the door. The camera peers inside from the doorway to the hospital bed on which lies what appears to be a female figure. She's hooked up to all kinds of medical machines. No closeups. Is is Ade or isn't it?

The reason for not showing Ade being killed by Silvio may have been to avoid any negative image as she transitioned to Joey. On the other hand, maybe the producers wanted to allow for a return scenario. If they shoed graphically the killig of so many victims before, why not of Ade?

You could have some sort of scenario in which Adriana was left for dead by Silvio, discovered by someone, reported to the police, taken to the hospital where she miraculously survives, snatched up by the FBI, and has been kept under protective custody ever since, pulling a Frankie 5 Angels and making everyone think she's dead until she testifies. Thats really the only way I could see this working.

Did Drea de Matteo (the actress that plays Adriana) quit the Sopranos to play in 'Joey' or was it already in the scenario before that happened?

I'm pretty sure she began doing Joey because her character was killed off the Sopranos, not the other way around. She had probably been refusing most other offers while her schedule was busy with Sopranos shooting, but once her character was killed off and a lot of her time was freed up, she decided to look for another project, which happened to be Joey.

No, no. The Joey contracts were already signed. She was leaving the show, so that's why she was killed off. The Soprano cast members are not let in on the whole season scenarios.
