In the season preview there was a seen with AJ in what seemed to be a hospital of some sorts with wired glass doors. It shows AJ running towards this door and hits papers out of someones hand. I noticed the hospital Uncle Junior was in last episode had the exact makeup of that place AJ is shown in. Watch both, if you have OnDemand you can. Pay attention in the scene with AJ its very quick but try and look for a mantle in the right hand corner with a lamp on it. You can see the same one in the scene I mentioned with Uncle Junior. -Take it easy

side note its possible he doesn't kill him, but he deffinitly goes there. -take it easy

Its possible Chase is planting "Easter Eggs" to throw people off, including cast, only he and the writers and perhaps the editors know the final demise... i know in other shows they film/shoot as much as 5 different scenario/endings so even the cast does not know what the outcome will be... keeps things interesting...

I looked for the wire windows in Junior's hospital and didn't see anything like what you're referring to.

A.J. killing Jr would be like Fredo being head of the Corleone family.

I've noticed that as well, and I'm 99.9% sure that the place we see AJ running out of is the place where they're keeping Junior. Only time will tell, though.

On that note, though, I honestly think that would be one hell of a cool twist to the show. Junior's death would be a big deal for the show regardless of how it happened, but if he was clipped by AJ?! That would be insane. I wouldn't mind, honestly. I used to like Junior, but lately, and ESPECIALLY after he shot Tony, I don't much now, although he's always good for a quality, funny line here and there.

Or maybe AJ goes to do the deed, and the demented old f*** takes the gun away from him , which is why AJ seems to have a look of panic on his face as he seemingly is trying to get out of the facility?? Now that would be more in line with the Fredo like nature of AJ.

I think it is a possibility, but know the show and Chase, I don't think we can say for sure.

However, to add to the reasoning, AJ is somewhat of a "nowhere man" and has no real job or direction. If he did kill Junior, his fate would more or less be sealed and he'd be "in" the family business. I do think whether or not he kills Junior, the show will end with a more mature and maybe surprisingly dangerous A.J.

The show has a habit of neglecting subplots. I wouldn't be surprised if it's never mentioned again, along with Paulie's side-deal with the kid who owns the company.

Wouldn't it be a great twist if he did kill Junior than goes to jail which forces Tony to have to make a bargin with the feds to keep him out. That would be a great ending to the show.

Well I 99% sure i'm right and that something between AJ and Junior will go down.

He tried but dropped the knife. Looks like he learned that real life is much different than the movies. He also is now having panic attacks like Tony.

I thought the AJ panic attack was a little gratuitous; too formulaic.

I think that AJ had the attacks because he realized what could have happened, his butt would have been in jail if Tony had no connections. Remember Tony told him after wards he wasn't cut out for that type of work. In the club when the friend asks him for help from his father AJ realizes what is being asked.

Maybe they have in mind an "AJ" spin-off series.
