The game was great on PC, not so great on PS2. The auto-aim feature works when it wants to, and it's crashed on me a few times. Graphics really don't matter to me, so that's not why I'm having trouble recommending the PS2 version. The story is great, and I did have more enjoyable moments than aggravating moments, but the story can't overshadow the fact that this is a sloppy port of the PC version. I'm all for difficult games, because in my opinion, games are too easy and too short nowadays, but you shouldn't make a game difficult, and sacrifice the fun factor. Aiming with the right analog stick doesn't work too well, and the auto aim really isn't even there. The story gets a 10, the game itself gets a 5, so overall, I give the PS2 version a 7.5.
