Last time I checked, downloading copyrighted software is illegal, and the distribution end is considered software piracy.

Regardless of whether you feel morally obligated in that someone won't necessarily be knocking down you're door, it is still illegal.

Not to say I don't have my share of burned games, but if they are, it's usually cause a few of my friends and I got together and kicked like 10 bucks into the pot, so we all got to share the game.
