I bought this game at about 3 o clock and started playing it shortly after. I litteraly blinked my eyes, and now its after 6.

This is undoubtedly the greatest game of the GTA series. The streets of Los Santos are so confusing and plentiful, that I dont think I will ever completely memorize them, but thats what we all said with Vice and Liberty. The minigames are AWESOME. Basketball, videogames, pool, and god knows what else. Also, the missions are much more clever and realistic. To me, this is one of the greatest features, because I was pretty sick and tired of wacky impossible missions from the previous two. Also the characters talk and act like real people would act. They curse excessively (Almost obnoxiouseley). There are many fast food places to eat. Theres a bar, barber, tatoo parlor, gym, a clothes store, and probably much more. One thing I didnt really like was the fact that police motorcycles (which are a blast to ride) appear way too often. Also, there seems to be a lack of BMX bikes which seemed really cool in the early part of the game. Another thing I didnt really enjoy was the graphics. IMO, the graphics got a little worse. But none of this deviated from the superb quality of the game.

I played for 3 hours straight and had a blast, but the amazing part is that I didnt even leave Los Santos. Hell, I didnt even get to the outter edges of the city. Let that say how huge the landscape is. If I had to choose a word, I would say that it is simply monstrous. So if you dont have it yet, get your ass in the car and go fucking get it! This is probably the best game I have ever played.

Is it true you are killed much quicker then the other games?

Yea it seems so, maybe a little bit. But its not that much of a drag. I will tell you one th ing though that I noticed, and thats that the cops are extremely incopetent. They make every badge from Vice City look like Mel Gibson from Lethal Weapon. But maybe its just cause its the early stages of the game. But Im not saying that this is a bad thing. Its actually quite appreciated.

This game is deinetly the best of the GTA series. I heard we can add hydraulics and shit to cars too. I just back back from the gym. I'm going to see if I can pick up any prostitutes. :p

I already got my muscles full, and my sex appeal is half full. As far as prostitutes, yea you can pick them up.

How long is it all?

I hear you get fat in 3 hours of playing and how long does it take to get muscular?

This looks like an awesome game. I can't wait for Xbox. It totally sucks being black, though. I despise that whole punk gang culture to play as an Italian mobster. I can't wait even more for the cheats to play as Vercetti.

To those of you who really dont like the idea of playing as a thug, I have to say that its really not bad. I too resented the idea of not playing as somebody like Vercetti, but CJ is a nice change of pace.

I got mine at 4pm yesterday, and I have been playing ever since (except now I'm at school).

The only problem I have with it is that you don't seem to make any money on the missions, which limits my purchases.
But other than that, it is AMAZING. This place is huge, and I haven't even been all around Los Santos!

I also love working out at the gym. My muscle is already at the max.

Can someone that buys quite alot of amazon what the odds are of it being here on time? because i am slighty worried and will be angry if it doesn't turn up on the day it is surpose to.

I actually left Los Santos today. The country side area is HUGE. Also, if you guys have time stop by the Pig Pen. The strippers have definetly been improved upon.

I STILL don't have mine. I hate Amazon and will never order from them again.(An Obvious lie. I just wish they would get me the damn game!)

P.S. I'm not too big on this fat/muscle thing. I love GTA becuase you can just walk around and wreak havok, the idea of having to stop-eat-workout-ect., kinda kills that level of gameplay. I think it tries to make it too realistic. Then again, I don't even have the DAMN THING!

Mine's coming on Friday

Theres a mission where you sneak into a famous rappers house on the outskirts of the city in this mansion, and I could'nt belive the visuals of the country side. Also there are some cool motorcycle missions that are much more intense than in the previous games.

Blake- did you get to the missions where your on the motorcycle with big Smoke, and your shooting all the Russians down behind you? Thats my favorite missions so far.

Yeah that mission rocked! I was clinging onto dear life right before it ened though. I am just a few missions past that right now, and I have been taking my girlfriend out and earning new territory and stuff. It's so cool taking over new hoods. ragingbull2003, are you in a new city yet?

ARGH, crappy amazon are saying they have not dispaced my GTA and it is surposed to come tomorrow is this normal? will it still probably come? C'mon people i need some re-asurrance.

All I can tell you is I checked online and mine was supposed to be here yesterday. And so far, it's not here today even. I'm pissed. Amazon needs to get their shit in gear.

When did you preorder it? Because I heard if you preordered it after 10/18, then it will be somewhat delayed.

I ordered it last Monday, and it said "November 1-5" however UPS's site says tomorrow. It's currently in Penn.

You guys should've just bought it a store.
