We're putting together a TV special to air this winter that coincides with the EA release of the Godfather game. The special includes interviews with celebrities and famous people of power about the influence of Godfather I on themselves and the culture as a whole.

We are currently searching for the ultimate Godfather fan... someone with a dedicated room or wall of fame or something... Do you have something that you would like to share with the world? Preferrably you live in Southern California but we may be able to come to you if you are the right fan. Let us know. He's appeared on many radio shows (at least two of those appearances are linked to on his site) and he has an awesome personal collection of "Godfather" related memoribilia.

Early rumor had it that one of the game's minor characters (a shop owner, I believe) was based on Geoff.

Have you ever seen his listing of "Godfather" stuff?? (Some years ago we had a thread in which everyone listed their "GF" collections. I suspect that thread got thrown out when some housekeeping was done here, but Geoff's list was head and shoulders above everyone else's).

As far as being a fan - Geoff has dedicated 10 years of his life to putting together THE definitive site on the subject and its recognized as being the best website of its subject in the world! I'd say thats a "fan"!

SC, I agree. This is tailor-made for Geoff. As for him being humble or terrified, I would guess that it would be a combination of the two!! Geoff is a multi-talented guy, but he is definitely quite modest. Geoff - EMAIL that man from the film company!!

Gee, those pictures look a lot like my office at my former employer. It was behavior like that that was responsible for my meteoric rise in the organization... :p

That's from the DVD Press Conference that FFC held in Brooklyn, to announce the GF DVD release. I "asked" and received a press pass -- and, of course, attended. That's how I got all that advanced notice, cuz we actually saw the content months early, and had FFC talk about it...

Well, that's just what I received after sending a request. I don't even know/think that he actually signed it. I kinda doubt it. I more cherish the one I got from him in person, even tho it's a scribble.

As for the list being 2 years old, there's probably not that much added since then. Most of that was from a spending spree I had years ago, when I was on ebay all day every day. I've since settled down with that, so haven't really added much since then...

At this point, I'd rather get ONE GREAT piece -- say, steal the desk from Napa Valley, or something...

This involves a filmmaker in California? Can't we just call Sid Korshak in Los Angeles and have him vouch for "our friend" Geoff?
