Which game are you going to get? I really think ESPN (formerly the 2K series) is a bit more realistic, which is why I switched over from Madden in 2K2. The problem I'm having is getting good opinions at videogame websites because there are too many fanboys who shout "MADDEN RULES" or "NFL 2K IS THE GREATEST MADDEN SUX". So I was hoping, since I know a couple people here like videogames, and specifically, football games, which game you'll pic and why. Also, feel free to discuss improvements and the like. -DJ

I'm probably going to buy Madden 2004 instead of ESPN. I think they're both great games, but I'm a long time madden fan and I don't think there are any major benefits in switching over to 2K series.
There are some changes that I'm really looking forward to in Madden, especially the integration of the mini camp mode from 2003 into franchise mode so you can upgrade your players attributes. I'm also looking forward to being in control of the finances of your franchise and making it into a profitable business. This should make the franchise mode even deeper than it was before.
"Fredo, you're my older brother, and I love you. But don't ever take sides with anyone against the family again. Ever."
"Fredo, you're nothing to me now; not a brother, not a friend. I don't want to know you or what you do."
"Only don't tell me you're innocent. Because it insults my intelligence."
