I think they're both great games, but I'm a long time madden fan and I don't think there are any major benefits in switching over to 2K series. There are some changes that I'm really looking forward to in Madden, especially the integration of the mini camp mode from 2003 into franchise mode so you can upgrade your players attributes. I'm also looking forward to being in control of the finances of your franchise and making it into a profitable business. This should make the franchise mode even deeper than it was before.
