We COULD see rosters, now when I go in under today all I get is a blank screen. Do they lock it once the games start?

I did notice ealier that most of us had Shaq. Which means he's guaranteed to break a hip or something.

EDIT The Phantom Ghost has fixed the Roster, as it is now working. Either that, or I had one of Buffy's blonde moments. I'm just glad I don't share any players with porkchop. I'd hate to start off with the curse of the pork already.

They don't do much of a job here keeping track of the players totals for the games in progress like they did in baseball, do they?

They better fix these problems, otherwise I have a feeling it's gonna be a short season here

Great first pro game for Dwyane Wade. 18 points, congrats D Wade! He's listed as day-to-day with a hip-pointer, so he may not play tomorrow. Now Nash and Jamison have to do well for me tonite.

If you joined today, it was too late to pick a roster for tonight, but you should be able to pick one for tomorrow.

Good morning,

I can see everyone's roster for today.

No scores for last night, though.

Does all this complaining qualify as whining?

Yes, plaw, all this complaining does qunatify as whining. Put out a whine alert next time, will ya?

All I know is Shaq, Iverson and Duncan did well. And the Lakers won. Am I off to a good start?

Alright, Basketball Commish, who's head needs to roll? I expect to come on here in the morning and see all the scores posted. We can't even see our own scores. This will not last long if this keeps up. I'll pack up my toys and go elsewhere.

Hopefully, it gets fixed soon. Otherwise, Plaw might have to go to football for his daily interaction.

You know I've been hanging with you gents to long. I was on the basketball site and the 2nd paragraph reads, "Wireless alert" and I thought it said, "Whine alert". I couldn't for the life of me figure out how they knew Geoff had registered.

Dear ESPN,

I am the commissioner of a Fantasy Basketball
League in your "Virtual General Manager" game.

Myself and eight friends formed the league because
we had so much fun playing "Baseball Challenge".

Unfortunately, we cannot say the same about this game.
Unless you fix the fucking thing PDQ, I'm afraid that we will
all lose interest and stop playing.

You better get it working so we can do the following:
1- See the box score "in progress" as the game is
going on, just as we could in baseball
2- See our opponents roster for that day by 5:00 AM,
just as we could in baseball
3- See our scores and our opponents scores from
the night before, just as we could in baseball.
4- Have updated league standings every morning,
just as we did in baseball.

So far this game sucks a big dick, and none of us
are having any fun. In reading the general message
board, I notice a lot of other players feel the
way we do.

I suggest you get of your fat asses and find a
good computer guy that can fix these problems be-
fore we all pack up our toys and go the fuck home.

Respectfully,
P. Lawrence

There, guys. That should do it.

I guess my letter to ESPN had some impact. As of this moment, they have boxscores for yesterday posted. There does seem to be at least one mistake, however: Phil Jackson wasn't credited with his 5 points as a winning coach.

Also, though, you can now no longer see everyone else's roster for today, but they're probably working on that as well, since I noticed some mistakes there when you could see them earlier (some were incomplete).

Don't worry, guys. Your commish is on the job.

How's your talks coming with the Big people at the top PL? Are things soon going to be working? In my best Dire Straights impersonation:

"I want my 5 points please"!!
I like how at the top of the sign in page it reads "Virtual GM Tip offs". More like "Virtual GM Rip offs".

Yes, but I am in the upper ranks of BOTH leagues that are running so I must have learned something now didn't I. No double headers here to screw up.

I know the cream will come to the top, yea, yea, yea

By the way, they need some major work on this fantasy league. Nowhere near baseball so far.

In order to be an informed trash tawker in this new venture I have taken on I am "attempting" to actually watch a game. I'm having the pleasure of seeing Orlando and New York put on the worst show I've seen since Rosanne sang the national anthem. I think I'd rather watch Ahnold say the Gettysburgh Address. Does the game pick up, or am I just watching two of the worst teams assembled?

Doucheman, I'm not seeing Tracy McGrady doing anything earth shattering. I'm thinking I got snowed big time on that.
