Welcome back Crabby!

Let me see... I looked at tomorrow's choices and it's almost sure that we all have the same lineup.

I haven't done any work on this, but for those who played baseball (plaw, pork, crabby), just by eyeballing it, does it appear that it's easier to build up/make up a lead here than in baseball? Deviations from day to day seem to be a lot larger.

I think it's the scoring system here. You get either a 5 or 0 for your coach, whereas in baseball your pitcher could give you negative numbers. It's not uncommon here to have a 100+ day. So it's easier to make up large deficits in basketball I think. Don't ask me to provide scientific proof though. :p

It's "easier" because there are a lot fewer players to choose from. But that doesn't make it easier to win - look where I am

I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! tongue lol

I think I have around that much left. I don't take much stock in how much I'm under 100 though. I just make sure I'm not over!

Should I add a "Salary Cap Value Used" column to the daily standings?

On days when the only game or games are between teams with low value players, it's gonna be hard to use up all your cap room, but it shouldn't necessarily make it harder to pick a roster.

If the high value guys aren't there, then they aren't there. Nothing you can do about it.

I only have .3 left for my roster tommorow. But the pickings were pretty slim. Not like baseball, where usually Monday was the only bad day. Here any day of the week doesn't leave alot to be desired. I wonder if we could use our left over points like cellular phone roll over minutes and carry them to the next day Get on it Commish. Isn't there someone you can write a letter to about this?

Just having you back among us is good enough for me. Notice how much livlier it's been here since your return?

Now, if we could just get FS to rejoin the game...

It can't be all VG points vs actual stat, + or 0 can it. You and DB provide the mathematical equations and I'll provide.....I don't know what I'll provide.

You miss your little buddy FS don't ya? Keep calling him out. I'm sure he'll love to continue your little banter. It seems to brighten up his day.

Talk about redeeming himself from a potentially really bad night... Take a look at Carlos Boozer's line:

5 points (2-8 FG, 1-3 FT)
3 assists, 3 steals, 1 block, 2 turnovers
but 16 rebounds!

I'll take those 18 points.

I have no plans in going in the basement tonight or any night. You'll have to drag me kicking and screaming. So whoever's in front of me, you've been warned.

I'm partial to Crab Cake. It suits my personality better. I must be special to have two nicknames. Or maybe I just have a split personality.

I'm going to have to write to ESPN for this. I didn't read that in the rules of the game!... :p

Being the pessimist that I am, I bet I can start whining tomorrow!

At least when we call you Douchebag we mean it with affection. Didn't I once say it takes a real man to call himself Douche? Unlike when BD called me Catwoman. I should have scratched his eyes out for that.

I just noticed that the only difference between Plaw's team and my team today is our point guard... He chose Steve Nash and I went with Stevie Franchise. In effect, I hedged that only 2 of the 3 Rockets (Franchise, Cuttino, Yao) will have a good game, so I picked all 3.
