Something I've been thinking about. In the GFIII where Michael and Kay is in sicily. He try to explain to her that it is too dangerous for theire daughter to be involved in the relationship she wants to be.
But in the end it was too dangerous to walk with him. They don't show it but I wonder wether Michael thought about it in such away? Maybe in the novel they mentioned something? Cause I haven't read it.
Excuse the spelling.
Don Corrado

OMG, he was just asking an explanation because he hasn't already read the novel!
Don Corrado, I'm afraid the book doesn't tell anything about, because it was written much earlier than GFIII was filmed.

To answer the original question: the "too dangerous" Michael was referring to was the potentially incestuous relationship between Mary and Vincent because they were first cousins.

Keep in mins that although there are three GF films, there is only one GF novel and that novel pretty much concludes with Michael's disposal of the heads of the other New York Mafia families about the mif 50s.

Well i'm not into Godfather for that long know. I only watched it the first time about 6 months ago. Watched it 3 times since then. I haven't watched it a couple of tens of times like most of you did over the years so I obviously wouldn't know everything like you do MR. Know-It-All. And I haven't read it because books bore me to death.

Thanks for the answers guys.
I have only been interested in The Godfather trilogy since Christmas. smile
