Struck by lightning. Is that a good thing? Simpler form of this question. I picked a Milwaukee player and Milwaukee isn't playing Friday I think. Are the Phillies playing tomorrow? I don't want to chose players and be an idiot when the team is not scheduled to play.

The way to tell if a player is playing tomorrow (hence you are picking him today) if when you are at a player selection page, there is nothing underneath the "Next" column next to the players name. By the way, Milwaukee is playing tomorrow. They are playing the Orioles.

I forgot to answer your other question: The Phillies are playing tomorrow. Kevin Millwood is starting for them at Cincinnati.

Hey Lucky, I can't really tell what section you are on. Is it supposed to be your team name? If it is, it can be anything you want. You can put in "Lucky" for location and "Luciano" for your team name or any combination of two words.

Hell..I'm as confused as you are.

In real life, "New York" is the location, "Yankees" is the nickname. Pick anything you like. Your team can be the "Lucky Lucianos", for example. :rolleyes:

Beth don't feel bad, as I have no idea what I was doing but still gave it a shot. Wanted to see what this was all about and hope to get my feet wet for these few weeks anyway. But now that I read that about players playing or not, I should have been more careful.

I do hope this does not ruin the group, if so I will withdraw if needed. Baseball is not my strong point by any means.

There's no need to worry about ruining the group. It's all in fun, in any case. All you need is a thick skin (because trash talking is alive and well here) and don't worry about talking trash back. Plaw and Bad Daddy has gotten us used to it! (Notice his current rank.)

Also, if you have any questions- just ask. At least I'm willing to help! I don't know about these other guys though. :p
