Allow me to chime in, rather late, on the doubleheader discussion, as if anyone cares...

I was unaware of a DH today, but this morning when I saw JG's roster I almost flipped. I had noticed the two games listed, but with the same starting times and different pitchers I assumed it was a mistake.

I was somewhat re-assured after seeing that the official websites of both teams made no mention of a DH today, but still not totally convinced.

I looked at the MLB scoreboard for June 17th, the original date of the game, and it said something like "Postponed. Rescheduled for July 3rd," NOT "rescheduled for July 3rd as part of a doubleheader" as they say when that's the case.

But I'm still not 100% convinced they won't be playing two today.

PL - rest easy, there is only ONE game with them.

There is only one game. I mistook "postponed" as a double-header. You know what happens when you ASSuME...

I read in a couple places that this was a 3-game series, and now it's a 4-game series, over 4 days.

What really is making me sweat is now the weather calls for isolated t-storms in Baltimore. Yesterday it said partly cloudy. If that game is postponed, I'm royally screwed with 1 offensive player (who was 0-4 yesterday) and one mediocre PS

Don't get your blood pressure up. T'Storms were this morning. By game time it's supposed to clear up. At least that's what OUR weathermen say, or else I wouldn't have picked 4 birds.

I'm leaving for St. Bart's tomorrow morning with no laptop. I spoke to someone at the hotel where I'll be staying, who assured me in very broken English that I could use their computer for a little while after 6 PM each day, but who knows?

If you see me with the same team for Saturday that I have tomorrow, then you'll know I'm in trouble.

I'll try to be around early in the AM tomorrow to add the pitching staffs for Friday to JG's update and for a final bon voyage
