JG, Are you sure you don't want a job straightening out these mopes at ESPN?

How can I finish my victory dance not knowing yesterday's scores?

Hey PL - you know if they never fix the scores - we are gonna have to put "*" next to your first half 'victory'.

My guess is the either JGeoff or Buffy are behind it - sore losers I guess :p

It was a great vacation, thank you. Good weather, good food, good company, and plenty of new tits and ass to ogle. And all that ogling tends to have somewhat of a lubricious effect on my 54 year old libido.

You know, I just noticed: You've been awfully nice to me, BD.
You must think it's gonna help you in the second half.

Actually, I expect to do rather poorly in Part 2. I made a new deal with the devil. It involved re-signing a certain NJ Nets point guard...

I'm happy with it. I agreed to finish a close second, in exchange for 6 years of Kidd, a healthy Mourning, a washed-up Payton and Malone, and an NBA title for Nets next year.

Here's something funny, though. The Nets sent out next season's ticket renewals last week, and were proud to state that there was no increase in ticket prices. I think what happened was they were so sure that they were going to lose Kidd, they didn't dare try to raise prices, but at the same time were hoping to get some renewals in before his loss became official. So they really fucked up. If they would have waited, they easily could have gotten away with a price increase.

15,000 people per game, times $10 per ticket, times 41 games...Cost them about $6 million

On Buffy's behalf, I will mention that she did starts two days late, during which time you amassed 45 points. So actually, one could argue that she has an 8 point lead on you. :p

That's a good point PL - and I am not sure if I ever mentioned, maybe I did once - but I started 10 games late - so JGeoff you may actually end up in fourth place by the time the day is over. :p

And not to scare nor worry you - but seems we have the same PS today also. And I believe you know what that means in most cases.

Nice try, BD, but on JG's behalf, I must say "afraid not" :p

JG had 316 points before you got started, so subtracting that from his current total, that still leaves you some 160 points behind him going into today.

Gonna be nice to have a couple days off from this. To study! haha

Good morning!

3rd place? well, I guess bronze DOES go with my tan

Congrats to - way to get out of a bet. Did you REALLY not want to have dinner with me THAT bad???Ah, your loss

Ok, so my Griswald moment came early at Coors Field. I'll have you know I DID make it on the giant Sony.....as many major league games that I have been to, I have NEVER fought for a foul or home run ball. I always say let the other peeps gouge an eye out for it. But we were sitting in row 20 behind home plate and Dave Ross fouled it off behind him and of course I am talking away to people around me and I look up and there is the ball but it LOOKS like it is going to go way behind us.....before I can even THINK about it, it comes down, hits me on the outside of my left calf, basically bounces off and lands in my daughter's friend's hands two seats down. It was her birthday, so I was happy she caught it. People around me (who seemed a bit peeved that I was cheering for the Dodgers...in Coors field, go figure...) teased me the rest of the game about me getting my "Dodger Blue" in the form of the huge bruise on my leg....when the attendant asked if there was anything I needed, I figured I couldnt ask to meet Eric Karros anymore so said, no, no thank you.

Otherwise, good game....Dodgers lost. Helton had a great night (2 homers) but at least it was exciting. Coors is a great field, I love it, havent been there since last year and the downtown area after the game is GREAT!

Sucks to come back when it is all over. I missed the fat lady sing! Feel like I had been asleep during the most important last lap of the race. But I spent alot of time at the ESPN Zone so I followed alot of the games there.

You KNOW I will be around for Round 2.

And let me say this sincerely: Everyone played a good and clean game - and I consider everyone a formidable foe for next game.

But! No more Ms. nice gal. I will use whatever means necessary to stay on top this time....

I have a tendency to wear my heart on my sleeve -

Ok, so final tallies in. Pork ahead of me by only 22 points. I'm sure he was sweating. Did I mention I started 2 days late? AND I was out of town with no access for the last 4 days?

DoucheMan - a FINE contender. But man, 269 behind the top three? I see you putting your game face on as we speak. Or at least when you wake up on Thursday

That's it. I'm through, I forfeit. I can't go through with this while she does this stuff. This is damaging to my plans. I'm outta this league.

Make that a 23 point lead. If I were you Buffy, I'd be making my case for the silver here instead of the bronze.
