Hopefully, my math is correct but here are our projected finishes out of 129,748 people playing:
1. PL 1,427 2. JG 3,114 3. LD 3,373 4. DB 9,731 5. BD 17,516 6. UU 30,490 7. OA 35,810 8. SC 37,886 9. HH 46,968 10. JJ 118,718 11. BE 124,946 12. FS 125,076

Dinner's on the grill (pork chops, I swear), so I have a few minutes here... DB, your predictions were great. I really did laugh out loud Gloat? Me? Never happen. Sorry to disappoint everyone, but the hokey-pokey victory dance was quite enough. I'm modest enough to admit that while I know I outplayed everyone, luck did play a small part here. I'm guessing about 2-3% or so. Oh, and BTW...Don't forget: I started one day late, so actually my margin of victory should have been larger.

Stick to this thread, JJ. It will never get closed on you, and you'll stay out of trouble.
Some of us here appreciate your sense of humor (I do, anyway)

But man, Pujols and Giambi was amazing. Yea, you should probably stick with it in here JJ. Your sense of humor will fit right in here. Hey Buffy, just caught that the Dodgers picked up Rickey Henderson as well. I guess they needed to meet their almost-illiterate self-involved although previously great baseball player quota.

I guess they needed to meet their almost-illiterate self-involved although previously great baseball player quota. Unfreakinbelievable - for a number of reasons. I used to follow the A's back in the late 80's/early 90's when they were hot - McGwire, Canseco, Eckersley, Broshious, Baines, Rickey and Dave H. My pre-married surname was Henderson and I was such a fanatic when I watched games, people wondered if I was somehow RELATED to the Henderson boys Also until last year, our farm team here was the Dodgers. It was here that I got to see players like Karros and Piazza come play off their injuries. As you can imagine, I saw Karros quite frequently - that bad back of his . Now the city bought a new Triple A team last year and it is now a branch of the Marlins. I have yet to go to a game this summer with the new team and have not been keeping up with the minor leagues much anymore. Most of these people let go today I haven't even heard of. And Rickey? Hadn't given him a thought in a looong time. How OLD is he anyway? The Dodgers are already plagued with injuries - mostly in their PS....are these trades gonna help at all?

Ricky will be 45 next Christmas day. Makes him almost as old as I am.
No, the trades won't help. The Dodgers are done.

[/b][/quote]Probably, porkchop. Thats me (above) by an ad for "Pork, the other white meat". The pic was taken by Beth E. on her recent journey up to NYC. We were walking down the street, checking out the back end of 309 West 43rd Street (address sound familiar?) and we saw this advertisement. We looked at each other and immediately knew that Geoff's name was written all over it. :p

"The World is My Pork Chop"? Sounds alot like Scarface. Can you just see our JG in a huge round bathtub smoking a Cuban? Sometimes in playing this stupid game, I felt MY world was the Pork Chop. Everywhere I looked, there he was.....

Could these two even find their way to first place? Funny about possible alliances. Somebody here thought I had help with roster changes while I was away (only if you believe in roster fairies ). They even went on to ask me if it was . Seems he appeared sympathetic to my "starting 2 days late" cause. As if. Hard to believe, but I have friends in even lower places
