Here's my thoughts on the Pork asterisk / Honorary Second Place thing...

There were plenty, I mean plenty, of games that second day in which, if Buffy picked the wrong pitching staff, she could have had negative points. Games like 10 - 1, 15 - 2, 8 - 4, 8 - 0.

With that said, I doubt Buffy would have picked one of those pitching staffs.

So where does this take me: Absolutely nowhere so we'll never know! I doubt Buffy wants the honorary second place anyway. If honorary college degrees were directly correlated to one's level of education, Bill Cosby is the smartest man in America.

On another note - I noticed ESPN has re-valued the players already, so some of these guys are finally affordable again. Guess everyone's gonna come out of the gate doing well (maybe even Bethie?) until the values start going up again.

I also noticed they moved some players from one position to another, depending on where they played most often the first half. No more 1B as C this half
