So it turns out that Plaw made the right bet. The star Yankees played only one out of two games (Matsui essentially didn't play with two lousy at bats). Also, he was right about Pedro- he only pitched three innings.

Good thing the players I did have from the "doubleheader" did well in that first game and that the Red Sox pitching staff did well.

From where I'm sitting, it looks like FS and I made the right bet. Considering, we scored in the mid 90's and all, more than twice as many as PL. But hey, that "fuzzy math" is a bitch... :p

No, I know you guys made the right bet. I was just saying that everything he predicted happened (except me picking the Yank-me pitching staff, which I should have, hindsight and all that...)

O.K., maybe half of everything he predicted happened. He guessed correctly that the stars will be limited and that Pedro won't go very long. His wishes that the Birds PS does well and that the Bosox were indifferent were a bit off.

I didn't have too much trouble picking, cuz I made my roster BEFORE the Cubs game was rained out. I just kept my previous PS and swapped a few Cubbies in there. I'll worry about it tomorrow. I sure can't expect another 93 pt day, right? Cuz then PL would really be sweating it Although, I have a feeling he's gonna change his strategy a little. But, maybe not. It has to work one of these days!
