Well, FS...I see you put a lot of thought into your picks this week. All the favorites, huh? I guess you were too busy leading your rich and full life to bother :p -------------------- Winners never quit Quitters never win Trite, I know. But true.

Old boy, the old green eyed monster comes charging out once again. Maybe just maybe if you spent more of your time on your personal relationships and making some real live friends and less time on the computer and FANTASY games you may have a better time in life! I will not bore YOU with the details, but yes I had a great weekend. Eat your heart and I hope you are not all alone with the coming holidays. If so drop me a line and maybe you could drop on in and see what a family life is really like. Maybe you could just pop in your copy of "Its a wonderful life" and dream. Now that I have returned the shit volley, HOW are you doing Pee-Larwence? :p You must have had a great day on the Grid Iron or you wouldn't be trash talking on this tread anyway! If so, Good for you! But really buddy, get a life, you are sounding more and more like some of the younger children on these boards who have no life but the fantasy life of the computer world! Now, I hope this posts help you as you sound very lonely and as you needed some interaction. Have you waited all day for someone to come online and play with you? Only kidding there Pee >>>>>>>>>don't get mad

I'll give you credit, FS. You've seen right through me. I'm just a lonely old computer geek. No wife and/or girlfriend (some really cool guys have both, I hear tell), no children, no friends except those here on the BB. All alone on the holidays? Yup. But don't worry about me. I already have a Thanksgiving dinner reservation over at the Salvation Army. Yes, fantasy games are my life. I don't know how I ever got along without them. It can get lonely just sitting around all day waiting for someone to reply to my posts, but what am I gonna do? Yeah, I had a good day on the "Grid Iron" today, but please excuse the trash talk. As you know, that's what I live for. And, BTW, thanks for the invite. I'd love o come over and see what a real family is like. Maybe you and I and "Pop" could play some poker. Well, thanks for the encouragement, FS. Maybe it will inspire me to get a life.

Well, it looks like Pee-Lawrence did something no one else seemed able to do this week. Select a winning card. Looks like everyone missed the boat this week. I think it was one of the worst weeks ever for the group. That is except for Pee-Lawrence who kicked ass and moved right up to the top of the heap. Great Job! He was the only one who had faith in the underdogs this week! I think that was only the second time someone in our group pulled 12 wins out and he still has the Monday night game to make it a record 13 wins! Someone get the bucket of ice so he can get his head back to its normal size before next week! Really, A great Job. Giants still suck! By the way we eat around 3:00pm and bring your own decks of cards as we wouldn't want you to feel that we cheated you out of your money using ours. Bring the large print cards so you can see the numbers. We have several family members coming who also enjoy a good game so we will have a full table.

Yay! Yay! Hooray for MC
Wouldn't want you to feel bad.
Actually, if you want to generate a response, you have to be a little less modest. Like me. To wit:
"Well, I told you guys I always do well picking football games against the spread. True, I had a rough start, but if you throw out the first few weeks, I'd be in first place by several games.
Doesn't matter, though. Six weeks left, 96 more picks to be made. Still plenty of time for me to wind up in first where I belong by 6 or 7 games or so"
Something like that usually works

Is it me, or does this week seem especially tough? Some weeks, like MC, I can make my picks in a minute or two; they just jump off the page. But this week, fuhgeddaboutit.

Jeez pl, I guess you're so into the Fantasy stuff that the reality of you and I being tied hasn't fazed you. You are as good you said you were! Another double digit weekend and betting heavy on those dawgs. We both picked the Jints tonight, so it looks like a foot race. May the best guesser win!
Salad,,,,,did you take my advice? Did you Constanza?

Picking football games against the spread isn't fantasy for me.
I've been known to back my choices with real $$$$.

Another mediocre week. Why the hell didn't I start this LAST year when I was in the 99.8 percentile in picks for the season??? Ugh. I'd've been kickin' ALL Y'ALL's asses!
I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! lol Whaddaya want me to do? Whack a guy? Off a guy? Whack off a guy? --Peter Griffin My DVDs | Facebook | Godfather Filming Locations

I'm averaging 7 picks/week. Pathetic. I'd do better picking randomly than actually thinking about it
