4 out of 15?!?!!?!!! Holy Crap - You know, today, before the picks locked, I actually thought to myself "I bet if I switched every pick I made I'd kick ass"

Buffy kicked ass w/ 13!

I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! tongue lol

Yeoch! that's a VERY Holy Crap. Not a good weekend all around....except the Buffy and the Salad. 13 - that's super! and a very respectable 10 for the Salad. The next few weeks may get very interesting.

And do you believe many of the "experts" were picking the Giants as contenders? Last years Super Bowl teams are 3-10 (Oakland) and 6-7 (Bucs). What happened?

First off....Niners = 50 points! Don't care if it was against the Cards...that was a grudge match for me after seeing the Niners lose to AZ in OT in October.

Tonight should be interesting...only 3 of us picked Cleveland. I think (and WANT) ST. Louis to win. But thought initially STL would only win by 3, therefore making my pick accordingly.

Now I have a "situation" in fantasy football where I need Torry Holt to find the end zone 5 times to be able to beat JGeoff and save myself from elimination. (and before you say "NO WAY", you know me - eternal optimist to the very end )

I will gladly give up the extra point in Pigskin in order for that to happen. My apologies to the other two who picked Cleveland. :p

"As The Pig Turns"

Things get close near the top.

Buffy pulls a big week off and jumps right into the hunt. Others had off weeks and are now caught by almost half the leauge. Tune in next week and see what happens. " As the Pig Turns"

Any one like me have a team going to the playoffs? also; anyone who is on NFL.com, do you know if league winners get a cash prize?

Peyton Manning
Ricky Williams
Fred Taylor
Terrel Owens
Isac Bruce
Rod Smith
Eric Moulds
Jeremy Shockey
Algae Crumpler
John Carney
Patriots Dst

Pretty bad ass huh? They are 12-2 on the season.

Another week is over and just a couple more to go. That was a fast season so far. Where do the weeks go? There can still be lots of movement yet before it is all over. No one is safe.

My lofty perch of 5 points can dwindle in whimsical weekend. I had my inspiration last night - the Costanza factor. The Seinfeld episode where George does everything the opposite of what he would normally do. My favorite line is when George first tests the theory. He walks up to a lovely blonde at the counter and says, "My name is George, I'm unemployed and I live with my parents."

I think we all know what a bad week looks like!

With three weeks to go it is still anyone's to win or lose. I know, just when I think I have a sure lock on a game, it works out the other way. I always feel that 7-8 is a normal weeks worth of wins and if you are 10-13 you have had a great week. Below six and I don't feel that great about my picks, and as you all can see I've had a couple of those weeks.

Boy, you really can not tell what a team will do from one year to another. Top of the pile one year, Bottom the next. For crying out loud, you can't even tell what they are going to do from one week to the other.

Who'd a thunk that KC would give up 45 points to Denver? Who'd a thought that the Giants would only score 7 points against the Redskins? Answer: All of us Giant fans.

Well boys and girls, I've gone out on a limb and picked 10 favorites. Not my typical modus operandi. Is this the weekend that someone hits a big double digit and I swirl down the old crapper? Hmmmmmm? Remember, I'm the all time loser when it comes to betting and picking.

Well pickers, the top four all picked Philly tonight. So with two weeks to go my tenuous lead remains. Who can make a few one-handed grabs and earn some double digit victories while I hit a 4 or 5. Luck be a Lady. Pl you went to the dogs and went to the dogs. They are tempting.....at least the ones with sauerkraut and mustard.

My bets are hedged. If Ricky Williams does really well and Miami wins, I move on in another league but if Philly wins by shutting down Miami, I win here.

Hmmmm... Go Ricky!

Yes, Go Ricky!

I am the only one here who picked Miami...that can't be good. Can all 9 other people be wrong? Well, stranger things have happened.

and what would you call those islands, may I ask?

What a wonderful spot for a winter vacation getaway.

Would you please post or forward a view of such wonderful islands so we all may have a brief,... I mean a cheap thrill!

This is the Pigskin Pick'em thread isn't it, or did I warp over into a GF Trilogy thread about Apollonia?

Are you talking about the holiday nature of our Pee-Lawrence. The one who was visited by the three ghosts of Christmas, or the one that has three new medications?

I would rather vacation on the islands.

You know what doesn't make sense... I have guessed correctly 118 times putting me in the 87.1 percentile. But towards the bottom, it shows how you compare to the average per week. If you guessed correctly on average, you should have 132.7 correct putting you in the 50th percentile.

Am I missing something here?
