Fuck the Pats. Im so pissed off now.

Anyway... Eagles about to go down for the third time in a row. That just shows how much they choke.

Detmer just got picked. That should wrap it up. There's going to be some riots on the Philadelphia news tonight. -Pat

That last interception should just about put the nail in the coffin. Although with my past history I think I may have just jinxed it.

2003-2004 superbowl= Carolina vs. New England

It should be a great game. Im gonna take Carolina to win, because it just seems like they have all the momentum and they deserve to win. Although, new england is very good and they worked hard to get there. But it just doesnt seem like their time.

I'd love to see Carolina win, and I'll be rooting for them. I always root for the NFC team in the Super Bowl because that's the Packers conference. I'd never vote for the Eagles though. As this rate, I'm never going to have to worry about that. :p -Pat

How 'bout Dem Eagles ...

I have three words about their performance tonight - Pit Ti Ful

Even though Carolina beat us, I'm gonna be rooting for them over the Pats. You gotta root for the underdog.

Ugh... Both my picks lost.

Carolina vs. New England...

I'm praying for a Panthers win, but I don't see it happening. As much as I hate the Patriots, if the Colts couldn't beat them... I don't think the Panthers could.

But we gotta remember it's not Foxsboro. They're playing on turf. New England's going to have to make some adjusting. -Pat

You're right, Pat. The only reason they beat the Colts is because they played at home in a snow storm... That is an IMENSE fucking advantage -- and a borderline unfair one too. It's all going to boil down to who's better... And I think the Pats have a sizeable advantage. As much as I dislike them, I have to admit they're a helluva team.

It certainly helped, but it's hardly the only reason. Didn't they beat the Colts earlier in the season?

It is an imense advantage, but hardly an unfair one. They earned it with a better record

The Patriots did earn homefield advantage and I am not saying that it was an unfair game, because that is how they have been doing this for years. But I would bet that if this game was played in a neutral stadium, Indi would have come out the winner. But that is their fault for being a warm weather dome team. And New England did play very well.

The Colts couldn't have beat the neighborhood pee-wee leaque yesterday. They played horribly. Football is played in all kinds of weather. That should never be an excuse. You don't play every game in your own backyard. They should have prepared for it. Peyton did not have his MVP gameface on yesterday.

In all fairness to the Colts, the Patriots defense played amazing.

I'll agree 100%. Maybe that's why I picked New England D in my fanstasy league. Although, that didn't stop me from finishing 4th.

By four points, and since then they've improved a hellva fuckin' lot [even though they still didn't lose by much]. And they lost by ten points, and in the storm... Without the advantage, imagine how smaller that ten points would be. Really, the Colts would have won.

I said it was borderline unfair. It was called right, etc., but the snow just gave the Pats almost too much of an advantage.

I was talking to a friend about this yesterday. Sure, weather should never be an excuse -- and I'm not saying the Pats are horrible. They played great, but alot of the reason WAS because they played in a snow storm, that's all I'm saying. Do you think the Colts would have played that bad if it wasn't a snow storm -- if it was a neutral stadium? Fuck no -- not in a million years. It's hard for a warm-weather team to adapt to that, and it has nothing to do with how good they are. That Pats wouldn't be as good as they are in snow if they didn't practice in it all the time, no matter how good they are. What are the Colts supposed to do, practice in a freezer? Sure, the Pats played well, but a big advantage was the snow, hands down.

Maybe not practice in a freezer, but they play 16 freaking days out of a year. Would it kill the sissies to go to a cold weather climate during practice, and yes, practice in blizzard like conditions. Football is played in winter months. If those fucking millionaires can't adapt to the playing conditions then only cold weather places should have football teams.

Playing a few days out of the year at practice in cold weather climates won't help too much. The Pats play there all year, so either way, they still have the advantage. Plus, who knows when it's going to snow? Are they supposed to check out the news and wait last minute to book a plane just to practice in the snow? As I said, the Pats are there all year round... the Colts would have to play in cold weather all the time to adapt, it's not an easy change, and it has little to do with football skills.

But I think the Colts improved alot more than the Pats did. I mean, just look at how well Manning was doing. And even in the playoffs, while the Pats were struggling against the Titans, the Colts were in complete control with both the Cheifs and the Broncos. Sure, the Colts only beat the Cheifs by a touchdown -- but they were a step ahead of them every step of the way. Everytime the Cheifs hit, the Colts hit back, and twice as hard. I just think the Colts improved more, and had it not been for a snow storm, the Colts could have outdone the Pats.
