It's not really a tip, plaw... It's too much work to take it into account now!

Did I forget to mention that the jokester in first place in our league is now number four (with a bullet) on the world-wide leaderboard?

After 3 games (not even 3 full-schedule days) the man is a pheeenom. I'm truly awestruck. Where are the feet? I must kiss them. I can't imagine how many points he will accumulate when there are 28 teams to pick from. *sarcasm dripping*

Some games of note this afternoon...

Detroit vs. Toronto (PL, JG, LD, DB)
Cubbies (FS) vs. Reds
SD vs. Dodgers (SC)

Only FS is sportin' Wood today.

This game is starting to get exciting & I'm already having fun. Updating my team daily will DEFINATELY be a chore the next couple of weeks with papers & finals coming up. Not to mention I'm going to New York Wednesday (and I hope I have computer access!). In case you're wondering, I'm going to the Yanks home opener on Thursday!

It's too late to change today's roster.

Roster changes have to be in by 3:00 AM Eastern on the day of the game.

You've been here over two years and haven't noticed the link called "Gangster BB Emoticons/Smilies" near the bottom? Or are you asking where I found them?

Cubs win! Cubs win! So how many of you are tracking games by Game Tracker? Buffy? Pork?

Man, I stink at picking pitching staffs. I hate the first half.

You know I am, DB!!! I try to limit myself to just watching 2 games at a time...any more and I cant get too much work done

Halladay should have played more (and better) than he did - but it is pretty much a moot point when all the people close in points had him.

MC really missed an opportunity to think outside this box the rest of us were in and gain some ground. But then I fall apart the closer the weekends get, so missed opportunities be damned!

DB, have you noticed the lineup for the Brewers?

It is the Arizona Diamondbacks Redoux!!!!! Too weird.

The Marlins were in town yesterday playing the Albuquerque Isotopes. I was given tickets (they were 50 bucks a piece! ) but it was raining cats and dogs. Figures. The day Major League baseball AND the trophy come to town, we have record rainfall. Saw Dontrelle (remember him from ESPN Zone last year DB?) and a few others and went home. It was freeeezing rain. I'm a wuss.

I can honestly say I am a fair weathered fan (or at least an above 40 degree fan).

I'd stand out in the rain for the Dodgers or the Cubbies. Or Eric. That is it. :p

Yep, I remember Dontrelle. I remember that I either wanted to shake his hand or beat him with the closest air hockey paddle.

Obviously, that was after the Cubbies lost Game 6. Ugghhh.

Albuquerque Isotopes? Do you guys have a power plant owned by a guy named Burns? Excellent!!

Better to be fair weathered than fairly weathered, I always say!

Is that a Simpson's reference? Ok, smack me with your air hockey paddle. I have never seen an episode of the Simpson's in my whole life.

Isotopes. What a STUPID team name. We used to be the Dukes - farm team for the Dodgers. Now THERE was a team. Isotopes. You should see our logo - like an atom. I guess because of Los Alamos and Sandia National Labs. Yes, we glow out here. We have aliens down south near Roswell too. Land of Enchantment, indeed.....

He is the kiss of death.

Today has been pretty uneventful so far. Gosh, I hate to pin all my hopes on/and put all my Bagwell's in one basket! :p

YES HOUSTON LOST TONIGHT! I'm sorry but I'll be happy all season long whenever Boston & Houston loss. I knew Dotel wouldn't bail them out! He gave up 3 runs in the 8th & 1 in the 9th. Houston may have Petitte & Clemens but there bullpen is gonna loss them a lot of games! YES!!

I feel very well rested after taking the day off. I'm ready to play. The fingers are feeling good. The ass is little sore but I'll work it into shape.

I understand about Boston, since you are a big Yankee fan, but why the animosity towards Houston??
