How about Wednesday, when my friggin' PS was washed out?

You didn't hear a peep out of my 'cause I was embarassed that I didn't check the weather.

Did you think that was gonna happen two days in a row?

What do you say, consigliere... Do we want a 14 inning game today or 15 innings?

You know DB sometimes a few of us just have to make the easy pick. Understand what I mean. Take myself for example - it's about having fun, if I put a lot of thought into my picks than I can't do the other things in life that I enjoy. And those could include - But not limited to;

the beautiful weather
a walk in the bright sunshine
the sight of lovely ladies
the smell of cut grass
the sounds of the bird singing
the sight of squirels racing up a tree
taking time with my special lady and cuddling up to a good TV show
the smell of the fireplace
sitting outback with music and looking at the stars
having a sip of my favorite drink
sharing a good meal with friends
........

If I spend all my time on fantasy sports than I would not be able to spend enough time on all of those things listed above and I suggest you do the same my young friend before you find yourself all burned out at an early age. Oh and if don't like this - than kiss my A$$ :p

Here I'll help you

Oh and Buffy, yes it is nice - doing my best Austin Powers impression

But wait, you are so far down there you can't really see it can you? - but you can ask FS or SC to give you the details, they can both see it now. And Pork will be getting a full view of it soon enough Ewww, I don't like the sound of that at all.

Ohh in my best Rober Duval voice - there ain't nothing better than the sound of trash talking early on a Friday morning.

Um, how would you like to be the person with the LONE choice? Makes ME a bit nervous.

So, it ain't raining in Chicago? Hey, I could start a dance and change all that for you. How many inches of rain do you want?

Florida Beckett is good, but against all those great ATL hitters? I don't think so.

Jeez... Around every corner there is a comedian.

Oh, and someone with a dirty mind. That is why I SPECIFICALLY worded it to say "inches of RAIN". :p

So plaw is sharing his emails with you????

And HoosierBigDaddy - I only found one misspelled word in that whole lovely rant. I saw right through you

My rant - only one day game. Think I will cut out early. What's the sense of being at work on a Friday if you can't watch a couple of games????

Sure, it is Friday. I do hope no one is working that hard. Late night last night and a slow start this morning.

By the way, BD add Poker Game for tonight.
anything would be beter then my last nights score.

I watched two guy get into one hell of a fistfight over the Yankees last night. It all started over A-rod. Strange part was that it was in a first rate place and the guys were middle aged. This was no push around contest. This was a slugg fiest with torn clothes and bloody faces.

No doorman like in a kids club.
Must of been twentyfive guys there and not one stepped into stop them. Not even the guys that were hanging with these two morrons.

They were fighting over A-Rod? Did A-Rod cheat on one with the other, or what????

I wouldn't fight over A-Rod. But that is just me.

Come to think of it, no woman should have to fight for A-Rod.

Oh my...it is waaaay to early in the morning for this.

Yes, it sure did. I think that was what started the fists flying. When one person told the other person what he could do with A-rod, his Rod and a certain persons wife and mother. It also didn't help when the one gentleman called the other guy an A-rod sucker which let the other poor sole to bring in the wife and mother into the act.

Yankee fans, you have to love them!

Oh, and by the way there was no women in the whole room. Before you make wise remarks. This one barroom is off limits to all women for almost 100 years. It is a private club so no government rules.

A few years back President and Hillary Clinton stayed here for a weeks vacation. You know how they attract attention. Every place in town wants them to stop in and take photos and such. They came thru and they entered this part of the place and Hillary tried to enter and they refused her.

Stopped right at the door by two old guys who had been long time members. Bill joined the boys at the bar and Hillary with her beet red face joined the ladies in the ladies lounge. Story goes that Hillary said some unlady like words to Billy boy and Bill just laughed, waved to her as he stepped into the room and ordered a drink. Later an agent came over and Clinton was told that Hillary wanted to go and he was overheard saying that she could just sit on her fat ass and wait. He was having a good time for once! I guess many people saw old Billy in a new light that night. Just one of the good old boys!

Look I am as open minded as the next person, and a bit old fashioned in some ways and non-politically correct in others.

But tell me this...Why in the world would men want to go to a place where there are no women? Isn't that the whole point of men going out? If nothing else than to enjoy the scenery?

If a bunch of men want to get together exclusively, that is fine. One would just expect it to be on a Fall Sunday afternoon at home in front of the tube.

But hey, if men want to go out and fight over A-Rod in the absence of females, hey more power to them!

You're just paying your dues now, IM, like all newbies should . The first few weeks last year we were all newbies too, stumbling around blindly trying to develop a winning strategy. But don't get the misguided idea that anyone is looking out for you, either. Except for FS, we all want to win.

It was always thought that when you added women and drinks together that there were always added problems to the mix. Men hitting on another mans women, getting rude ect. Ladies have the Queens Court for themselves and mixed couples are allowed in the main bar off the main serving area.

Anyway, you know how men are. Always trying to show that they have a bigger rod then the next guy. So in this class place, Two A holes duke it out over the Yankees new A-rod and some choice words about a-rods and those problem women which the room doesn't allow in!

Isn't life good in America!

You know, I like the new Pee. Those meds, must be leveling out!

Don't worry IM you can always sell your sole to the devil. Just ask Pee about his deal in the past.

Good one FS. I'm not that worried about winning fantasy baseball. I've won my division one time in fantasy basketball & sure it feels good, but the next week it's like what fantasy basketball? I'd rather sell my soul to see the Yanks win the series this year!

Or is this sole part of his foot?

yes, "Sole" in the Fantasy Bass League"

"Soul" in the Fantasy Basketball league.

And yes, you are laughing at me!
See now, why they don't let women into the room!

If you like, I can belt out my rendition of "Cold Hearted Snake", or "Opposites Attract" complete with cool faux Laker Girl moves and you can see whom I am a fan of.

I mean c'mon....Paula? Even *I* would have chosen the right brother. Emilio over Charlie??

Secret's out. I think Ryan is fine . If only he didn't have more highlights than me...
