You don't get points for today for the make-up game, though.

I hope my tip doesn't cause anybody heartburn. Seriously - 7 of the 9 players know how it works. The 2 that don't are currently in the last two places.

Again, this is in the spirit of fair competition. We gotta give the newbies a fighting chance here!

Was it really necessary for the White Sux to get rocked in the bottom of the 10th? Hey, I considered myself lucky that with 7 earned runs in the 9th I was looking at the big goose-egg and had high hopes for a total of 5 (for the W) at the end of the game.

You Boston guys cry about your rainout. I would give my left arm for a zero in pitching right now.

Oh, yeah -

WHINE ALERT!

If you pick a PS that doesn't pitch that particular day, you get nada.

If you pick a PS that pitches on a double-header, you get BOTH games worth out of your PS.

If you picked Boston tonight, you get nothing - ever.

If you pick Boston for Thursday, you get whatever they do on Thursday, for Thursday. Not today. Today is done.

Don't look now boys and girls but the rookie has 80 pts in week 4 - 3rd highest. I finally picked an offense. Oh, and Buff, look to the left..

You're rounding into form, MC. And showing a lot of potential in the crowing and trash talking categories as well, kicking Buffy when she's down and all.

Since Rookie Of The Year is only a two man race, I'd say you have half a shot of at least winning that.

Keep up the good work.

That just goes to show you what happens if you forget to change your PS one night.(Cubs yesterday) I thought I had done it in the morning and went out and then never checked it over before heading to bed. It may be the first time it happen this year, but it will not be the last i am sure. It was just like missing that whole day early in the season, when I didn't think the next game was another day later then it really was. Like you say Pee, that is why I will never win this thing.

Those two mistakes were mine and mine alone. Screwed up. The other pick was just the wrong PS on the wrong night and I paid like a few others did.

The truth is like so many other things. You get what you put into it! Let things go and you pay the price.

Gee, I missed your 2000 .

Of all of us, you probably have the highest percentage of your posts in the fantasy threads. When we started baseball last year, I remember thinking to myself "Member #39...300 posts in two years....Who is this guy?"

I'd start a congratulatory thread, but we might as well keep it right here. The only responses will be from us fantasy players anyway. No one else knows who you are. :p

So....Congratulations on 2000 (and about 1700 quality fantasy posts), Don Sicilia, a/k/a DB, my most worthy (actually only worthy) adversary. A true gentleman, unflappable and unperturbable, with ice water in his veins.

Keep up the good work.

By the way, I am kind of interested in what the other players do for fun. So anyone who cares go right ahead. Pee will not pick on you....I hope.

Besides drinking? I gotta tell ya, it's not fun, but I had a grand old time the last 2 nights assembling a lawn mower and weed whacker all by msyelf. *pats self on back* No fooling. My lawn mower broke last year, and I ordered one. It got delivered, and genius me didn't think that it would be delivered unassembled. When it got to the part about "secure screw with nyloc nut" I was wondering if I needed a guy with panty hose. Then I remembered that's nylon. But considering I can't even program my vcr I'm darn proud of myself. Now the test is tonight when I use it.

As you were peeps. ...
