Just your imagination? Or was there a power surge elsewhere as well?

Whooosshhh... That was the sound of the joke going over FS's head! :p Of course, I'm only joking with you, FS!

I would say that the poem was written tongue in cheek, but then Bad Daddy would have inserted a "tongue in cheek" joke here.

Anyway, what I do for fun... Lately, I've been working too much to have fun, but here's a list in no particular order...

Spending time with the special lady, of course
Taekwondo - injuries have been killing me though
Sports - playing and watching (except hockey - hockey is not a sport, although I would like to play one day)
Reading
Watching movies
Watching TV - need TIVO badly!
Family, friends
Work - I honestly enjoy doing my job
Karaoke - all Filipinos can sing, you know!

Plus others that I'm forgetting right now...

Jeeze, FS. All these great responses.

Why don't you start a thread in General Discussion so everyone can join in?

from FS: "By the way, I am kind of interested in what the other players do for fun."

...and relaxation...in no particular order.

- Have stimulating conversation with my wife while sipping a vodka gimlet, eating Utz, Special Dark Pretzels and listening to mellow music.
- Ride my bike through the hills of Harriman State Park
- Boogie Board
- Plug in my guitar, turn up the amp, strap on the blues harp and wail away.
- Play Flog (that's golf backwards).
- read the witty posts of the Gangster BB.

Laying on a beach featuring topless women in thongs- As long as they are good looking. I have been to nude beaches and know that not everyone should be naked!
Kinky sex- Now that is interesting- Just how kinky are we talking here? Farm animals in there somewhere?
Film

Listening to classic rock and the blues- Hard not to like this one. Pop been grooming us on this for years!
Watching basketball, baseball, and football- Why doesn't this surprise us!
Imparting some of the wisdom I've acquired over 55 years to my 15 year old son- Are you sure that you don't know my father? Must be that age group then!
A good argument- another big surprise?
The company of friends- A must- they can last your lifetime and are worth a mint to you, but don't cost you a dime most of the time.

WTF? -- This should NOT be considered an earned run!

PITTSBURGH 1ST
-Bottom of the 1st inning
-T Redman singled to left.
-T Redman safe at third on throwing error by pitcher R Oswalt.
-J Wilson flied out to left.
-J Kendall grounded out to shortstop, T Redman scored.
-R Mondesi struck out looking.

1 run, 1 hit, 1 error
Houston 0, Pittsburgh 1

Edit: Okay, good - ESPN just fixed it

Kerry Wood's not pitching tomorrow b/c he got suspended, right? On the fantasy thing for PS for tomorrow they still have him listed that's why I'm asking.

Colon Blow. -14 pts from the Anus-heim Angels PS. Just when I was set to moon LDV, she sprints ahead. Nice day LDV, 52 pts to my 5. Its a loooooong half a season. The tortoise will prevail!

MC- LDV had only 28 points last night. 52 for the week so far.

I was so glad that I did most of my team in the morning, as I came home and was sick and slept thru the whole evening. My head still feels stuffed up and thank God the tissues come in extra large size and are nice and soft.

I see Boston was the team to have last night. A nice 37 point from pitching. That is for a single game I may add.

Pork drops a spot as Big Daddy rides the Boston Express up one notch. Good hit with 63 last night BD!

Looking at how we all blew up our teams for today's doubleheader, I can see that we are all playing it a bit differently this year than last year. Last year, we all had a player or two that we kept rain or shine, because we had them locked at cheap values. Very interesting...
