Oh Boy, you are looking to have Pee give you a hard time. [/b][/quote]No one is "afraid" of me, as in I'm gonna whack them or something.

What FS is referring to is the following comment, which he knew I would make:

IM, don't expect any help on stuff like this from other players. And if you know that Wood is suspended, you should keep that to yourself, 'cause someone else might not know, and go ahead and pick him.

This is a friendly game in the sense that we are all friends and kid around a lot, but except for FS, we all want to win.

Now, you don't consider this to be me giving you a hard time, do you?

Very nice Pee, Those new meds have done wonders for you. I see great things in your future!

You have been real nice to the newbie. As long as he stays down near the basement!

and IM, since I'm not here to win, you can mail me anytime and let me know these great things!

Thank you Plaw for the courteous criticism and thank you too FS for the open invitation. Should I e-mail you or private message you through the BB? Remember guys, I am new to this & got confused seeing Wood's name for tomorrow even though he was suspended. I don't mean to ruin the game for anyone. I'm just here to have fun (since I'm too far behind to win)

Listen IM, don't press your luck. I don't know how good\strong Pee's med are.

Just e-mail me if you need. Address is in that little title box in my posts.

Irish, as the other newbie here I got chastised before the season started by saying Fred McGriff got optioned to the minors. These guys are serious. You and I could really mess with their heads by throwing in weather reports for each game site or queries on the injury reports. If we did that I'll bet we would hear gnashing of teeth. Reminds me of an old song by Brook Benton, "Its a rainy night in Georgia.....

If you keep talking like this, Pee may have to take double his meds. And we all know how much meds cost these days.

Get ready for the why play at all speach!

Yes, but if you read my early post. I have been under the weather, so......

Hey, I just don't want them ganging up on my buddy Pee!
He is not as young as he use to be.

No big movement with the first Boston Game.(5-6 points between most players) Now we have to see if the second one changes things. Who plays both games, and for some of us who took other then Boston/Tampa players make out in those games.

I really need Baldelli & Cruz Jr to abuse the BoSox PS now... my only chance to gain points tonight, and 1 pt apiece just isn't cutting it. :p

Hey Jeter broke his 0-for-32 streak, and what a way to break it by hitting a home run during your first at bat tonight!

It seems as though IM did exchange some PMs with FS last night. BD hacked in and thought I'd be amused, so he sent me a transcript. He asked me not to reveal the contents, but I couldn't resist. So with apologies to Big Daddy....

IM: Gee FS, it was nice of you to invite me to email you.
FS: No problem. We kids have to stik together.
IM: So what's the real deal with you and PL. Why does he always seem to pick on you?
FS: Well, he's just a hard and biter old man. He claims to leed a rich and full life, but I think that all he really has is fantasy -- games and otherwise.
IM: No, really? He was always nice to me.
FS: That's just an act. He really doesn't give a dam. He just wants to get on his soapbox and make a speach.
IM: Oh. That makes sense, I guess. So tell me, is it really true that you don't want to win?
FS: I'd love to win. The problem is, I'm just not any dam good at the game. Beleive me, I try, thouhg.
IM: Gee, that's too bad. So all this business about playing for fun is just an act, then?
FS: Yeah. I even miss a day or too now and then just to make it look good. I make up a lot of excuses about girlfriends and poker games and stuff, but nun of it's true.
IM: Well, I'm trying to win. PL is 100% right about what I said about Kerry Wood. I see why you should keep information like that to yourself.
FS: Of corse he's write. I just hate to admit it.
IM: You know, FS, you don't exactly seem like the happiest person in the world.
FS: It's all the meds I take. Also, it can be pretty upseting being around ded bodys all the time.
IM: What are "ded bodys"? You know FS, you should really watch your spelling.
FS: There not speling mistakes, thier tipos.
IM: Um, what's a "tipo"
FS: You no, a tipografikal eror.
IM: Gee, I guess I better get my "Hooked on Phonics" book. What the hell is a "tipgraf...". Never mind, I figured it out.
FS: Good four you, kido.
IM: What's a "Kido"? And how about those "ded bodys"?
FS: Never mind.
IM: Well, I gotta go. I have some studying to do, and then I'm going out with this really good looking girl from one of my classes. What are you going to do tonight?
FS: Cut the grass.
IM: Cut the grass?
FS: Yeh. I love the smel of freshly cut grass in the eevning.
IM: Well, have fun. I'll talk to you soon.
FS: Anytime, IM. It was my pleasure.

I dunno about you . The other rookie in the game almost figured it out.

Don't worry Pee is just mad because everyone did well on the double header. Don't worry Pee, there are many more DHs for people to miss, so you can stay on top of the golden tower.

That is why he strikes back with the wise guy remarks about anything and everything. He must have run out of his nice pills. What a shame. Just when you thought Pee was turning over a new leaf and becoming a real guy.

Sometimes when BD does them, they are really funny. This one is kind of crying out for help.
Like all those evil demons in Pee's mind coming out and showing what really bothers him.

Relax Pee, tomorrow is the first of the month and you can refill your meds once again. That new month also allows you a few more Doctors visits.
Just try and get thru the day. We are there for you my friend!

IM, I told you not to push your luck. See what happens. So please take it easy and PM me if you know or need something.

Sorry Pee.

Maybe this will help you.

By the way, the gardners are here to cut the grass. Let me open the window, so you can enjoy the fresh cut grass and relax. You know, it hit 86 here yesterday. It started at 45 and jumped all the way to 86 in less then 8 hours. Mother nature sure has some power.

Much better .

You know, for a young guy I think you're way too serious.

Oh, nice of you to worry Pee. I will keep an eye on it. I will never let things get that serious. After all I have never seen an obit that read. "I wish I had worked more and played less"

I hope it really doesn't bother you that a guy like myself likes to play fantasy baseball, but doesn't live fantasy baseball 24 hours a day.

I hate to admit to it, but I checked the weather report when I put my team together for today. Maybe it is growing on me, a fantasy baseball jones in the making. After all I am only 64 points out of third place! and I am ahead of Buffy and SC. two respected players.

By the way how has your poker game been?
