Trust me, that was a total fluke.

I pride myself on being different. Usually it is me and DB or Pork sharing a brain. But when I ruin someone's night with pitching, I like to spread the love around.

Since this has become the official American Idol thread, am I the only one who thinks Crop top head woman Fantasia needs to GO. Or at least get pushed off the stage? Her personality reminds me of Rosie O'Donnell, and that woman is a waste of space on this earth.

Jasmine is DB's cousin? Isn't she from Hawaii?

Pork's man Clay Aiken is playing in Baltimore the end of July. Maybe I'll get a couple of tickets. I wonder if he'll make me swoon like he does Geoff.

Mindless rants, Buffy?? Whatchootalkin' 'bout??

I think that Fantasia is a pretty good performer. I find her funny in an annoying/amusing kind of way.

Corey Patterson, Buffy?? I WILL alert the masses. You'll probably mess up his other knee by the time you're through with him.

Please, let me know if you see anything else.
 (The above from the last page of last year's Fantasy Baseball thread)

I love barbecue, BTW.
You're upstate, right? My ex went to school in Oneonta, and they had this company that traveled around and set up a whole BBQ pit at carnivals and fairs, and did private catering also. The cooked the food and served it, and it was great. I forgot their name, though. Was that them? [/b][/quote]Hey, don't get your shorts all twisted up over the word Free. Who doesn't like something for nothing. Let me tell you when I am out and we are drinking and you are buying two or three rounds during the evening, and lets say you are with five to six guys....5-7 dollars a drink adds up quick. Add the tip and you've spent one and a half not counting your food. So free bar is a great night.

By the way that post about the fantasy game cost...It wasn't the money by any means, I was thinking about the younger kids who may want to play but didn't have any funds. I always pay my way.
There are many companys doing that traveling cooking now. My fathers friends Own the Dinosaur BBQ. They have now opened a couple of new ones in Rochester, NY and last I heard one was going down in NY City. My Dad knew them when they had nothing and they would sit around at their food stand and taste test sauces and products. Talk about making ones own way in life. The boys have done very well for themselves.

Last night was done by the chef and crew from the country club itself. Someone there sure knows about cooking ribs! I wish I had some right now.

C'mon, FS...I didn't CALL you fat, I ASKED if you were fat.

So I get an A- for tact

But then again, I never in my life have had to mow a lawn, yet enjoy the smell of fresh cut grass myself!

I would gladly mow the lawn if you would lay out in your smallest suit and sunbath. Then share a couple of cold drinks with me while I cool myself down!

Would those drinks be the stiff cocktails you already offered Buffy? I wonder if I'd get offered them. I'd probably just get left holding the shaft.

Yes pl I have been to the Sunnyside for pizza. Good pizza, food and cheap. My wife is friends with old women; like 80+ yrs old. She just loves old ladies. Well one of the friends is a relative of the owner, so we've taken her there a few times. Not the kind of place I'd go out of my way for, but if you're passin' by......

LDV, lots of good cheese too. High in flavor, salt and fat. YUM!

Maybe you should change your 'title' from The Buffster to The Jinxster - and why not share your PS picks with everyone so all know who to avoid, c'mon be a bud. :p

I remember last year - Pork Rinds and I were going through a similar streatch where we were sharing a brain for PS and they sucked big time every time we had them. It got so bad that we actually sent each other who we were picking so the other could avoid them.

Tuesday, 54 pts. Not bad for a "carry-over" team. Finally dumb-luck struck.

MC- at this point, I would take dumb luck, blind or deaf luck or any other kind of luck.

I see I am Lone Wolfin' my ps pick today. The Dodger fan in me be damned!!

While all you macho guys out there are sticking with your Woods and your Rocket, I have Brown. Brown, well...that is like the color of.....poo?

I don't want my team to do like poo today. C'mon, it is Wednesday, the weekend fast approaches (and we all know what that means). Maybe someone out there will throw me a bone?

You know the old cliche, Buffy, "What can Brown do for you"?

As far as throwing you a bone? I'll step back to stand clear of the hurricane of wind from all the guys storming your way.

DB - sorry but after last night, Jas is heading back to the islands. :p

What can Brown do for me?
Gosh how many things do I get to list and how much time do I have?

My first request would be the thing that starts with a......."K"

I know Buffy. She did well, but not good enough. My prediction for the bottom 3 would be Jasmine, George, and Diana - with either Jasmine or George leaving.

Verbs that start with a K... hmmm...

Kill
Kick
Knit
Knock

:p

Verbs?

gosh, I kind of had my heart set on Brown throwing me some nouns (one in particular) that start with "K"

Sidenote: do you still have a bottom 3 with 5 people remaining?

My, that sounded nasty. But all you gutter-heads know what I mean, right?

What's with the knitting guys, you BOTH mentioned knitting. Think Kevin is a wuss, or what??? :p

We got through fine Bethie, but we voted about 15 minutes before the phone lines closed.

Wonder if MC still wants Paula after the mess she made of herself last night. Here's a tip - if you are going to wear 4 times the makeup on your face than you should - don't have a crying jag on national tv.

DB - not even the oft-absent-recently-present-flower can save Jas tonight. Maybe Hawaii had good luck with the phones, we shall see! :p

When is closing time? I called exactly 1 minute after the show went over and it was busy. I think I got through about 9:30 my time. I didn't know how late you can vote till.

I didn't even listen to Fantasia. I don't know what it is, every time I see her I have this urge to kick her in the face.

As far as knitting be wussy, Rosie Grier was a knitter. I'd love a man to knit me a blanket. We could snuggle up together under it.

hmmm - sorry I thought this was the Fantasy Baseball thread not the AI thread.

Hey PL - proud of me.

But speaking of AI - I agree that George, Jasmine and Diana should be bottom three but for some reason I think Fantasia will be there. She won't go but I think she will be bottom three - the voting has been whacky this year.

Well that is if they have a bottom three.

And just to keep the topic back to baseball. I have been picking my roster during the day, and last night I saw Abreu had 2 homers so I was all psyched - only to realize I had him for today not last night. I was thrilled to realize I had Giles and his whopping 3 points  - day late dollar short, Abreu probably won't get squat tonight now.
