To get back to the issue about how much time each of us spends making our picks - I've noticed there is a direct correlation between points gained and time spent. Some weeks I'm able to devote 15-20 minutes/day making my picks and I do well. Other weeks I'll average 5 minutes/day and my scores suffer drastically.

Lesson learned: you get what you put into this game.

Nice to see my offense coming around... I made my first official mistake yesterday by having Barry Bonds in my lineup (not playing those doubleheaders was only a mistake in hindsight). I knew he was sick, but I forgot to take him out.

By the way - Bye George! I was a big fan, but someone had to go other than my "cuz"!

You'll have one more week with your "cuz". Her goose will be cooked next week I presume.

BTW - Go Diana! She was my vote.

Back to AI, I see.

Ok - so it was probably best for George to go, I liked him but well time to go.

Next week, Diana or DB 'cuz'. My guess with it being Donna Summer night - Diana will go, Jasmine has more the look and style for the DS songs. Leaving Jasmine, Fantasia and LaToya.

That is where things will get interesting because I think all the kids will vote for Jasmine and then LaToya and Fantasia will split the rest -meaning one will go. I think Fantasia will not make it - leaving LaToya and Jasmine for the final 2 and LaToya being the 3rd AI.

Book it Dano'

Well, at least I know you'll be rooting for me (well, at least the Cubbies) today

No one's pitching Wood today. Closest thing is a Harden

You should be embarrased Bad Daddy. And you still don't know how to spell Ryan S-E-A-C-R-E-S-T's name.

I still can't get over the fact that you've watched "An Officer and a Gentleman".

 If I used the correct spelling - I could be sued.

You know I have been meaning to tell you about your hmmm 'boyfriend', Vinny. The picture for your Avatar - it looks like one of the girls on the softball team when I was in high school - one of the pitchers probably. You know the type, the ones that carried a wallet.

Coming from a guy with a picture of a guy with a bullet in his head I'll take that as a compliment.

I'm not worried FS... I just wanted to make sure that I know the earned run/unearned run rules...

I agree w/ the 1 ER in the box score:

After 1 out, Tag reached on an error. Two hits later, he scores (unearned, he should've been out). Pujols scored on the next hit (earned). Next guy is out, so all scoring after that should be unearned cuz there would've been 3 outs.

This version is easier to read for me:

ST. LOUIS 1ST
-Top of the 1st inning
-T Womack flied out to left.
-S Taguchi safe at first on error by second baseman P Polanco.
-A Pujols singled to center, S Taguchi to second.
-S Rolen singled to shallow center, S Taguchi scored, A Pujols to third.
-E Renteria singled to right center, A Pujols scored, S Rolen to second.
-R Sanders fouled out to second.
-H Luna homered to left, S Rolen and E Renteria scored.
-C McKay flied out to left.

5 runs, 4 hits, 1 error
St. Louis 5, Philadelphia 0
