I'm just checking to make sure that's not the middle finger showing up there. You gotta save some waves when I leave for my trip, so don't tire your arm out.

The Headline for cbs.sportsline.com for Derek Fisher's game-winning shot against the Spurs is "Expert Fisher-man".

Would that make him a Master Baiter??!! :p

I know, I know, old joke. Since Bad "The Wuss" Daddy isn't around, we need someone for the third grade humor.

The Orioles lose 10-9 after coming back down
9-0. What a heck of a game. If I didn't have my sprained ankle I could have gotten a ticket. Between that game and the Nets-Pistons into triple overtime my eyes are rolling in the back of my head.

There's no hockey on tonight, is there? I might as well go for the hat trick.

Well, it looks like the Buffy PS curse vs. was a stand-off. Maybe because my was concentrating in getting the Nets a victory.

We got 17 points, but no win, and were cursed with a million walks. But we had the highest PS total in the league, except for

Yeah, Cincy PS!! Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in awhile. :p Let's see how the 2 big Ass-throws do against the Metropolitans. That other team from New Yawk.

2HR A-Rod (16 pts) - PL (And you also had Sheff (10 pts) and Bernie (9 pts) HRs -- Dammit, I should've looked at that matchup more closely! ) Good thing you didn't pick the BoSox PS :p

2HR Torii "Nice Girly Name" Hunter - PL, DB, MC (Unfreakin' believable how I saw a good matchup w/ the pitcher, but he's SUCKED for so long there was no way I was gonna pick him. So much for all I know. )

For some reason Plaw missed IM in the standings a couple days ago; he's back now, with Arroyo's 4-hitter... Good (and surprising) Pick!

All right, Plaw... 70 pts in offense??!
16 A-Rod
16 Torii
11 Sledge
10 Sheff
09 Bernie

17 players had 10 or more offensive points today. Unbelieveable. I only had 1  No one here had Bobby Abreu's 19 point day. Not considering salary cap, having had the top offensive player in each position would have yielded 121 pts in offense today.

As far as today goes, I tried to sneak in a cheap PS in exchange for offense. If I had the Boston PS, who knows what my offensive team would have looked like.

So what did I wind up with? Plenty of offense, and no pitching.

DB was the star tonight -- he had both.

Ah, you can leave him out. I just left him in yesterday cuz he had a great day...

BTW, I'm leaving for Annapolis soon and won't return until tomorrow evening so won't be around much to update scores. But I will sneak onto my brother's computer to see how things are going I'll wave when passing through Baltimore, Bethie!

10 Things I Think I Think (ala Peter King)

1 - So I renegotiate my value this morning and my market value went from 49.9 to 51.8. Uggghh. All players went up except my scrub catcher. Anyway, we're supposed to be choosing the best players in this game so their value is supposed to go up. But still, nearly 2 points??

2 - I'm sure someone can do the quick math, but were we, the ones with Houston yesterday, better off going into extra innings and lose or winning with a shutout in regulation? It looks like we're better off with the extra inning loss, but either way, 39 points ain't too shabby!

3 - Roy Jones, Jr. lost this past weekend. That's HUGE. Best pound-for-pound fighter KO'd in the 2nd round.

4 - One afternoon game today. Most of my offense is playing in that game.

5 - Two Game 7's in the NBA Playoffs. One on Wednesday, one on Thursday. Both should be good. Detroit might be tough at home. I want the Twolves to win.

6 - Boston Rob should have won the 2nd million dollars, but hey, he's still marrying AMBUH.

7 - To put her out of her misery, America should vote out my "cuz". They should NOT have voted out LaToya.

8 - Bad Daddy and IM quit last week. Wusses! :p By the way, Bad Daddy, if you're still coming to Chicago, let me know so I can hook you up with those "tourist spots" that you wanted.

9 - Sammy sneezed his way into back spasms yesterday. No comment from me really... just thought it was funny.

10 - Go Toronto!

Now that I'm starting to get some points and I may actually have some time to give this game some thought....could you guys not play for a week or a few days so I can catch up?? Come on whaddaya say?

I was lucky I had asked myself who was the most likely to hit against Clemens and put Piazza on my roster yesterday. The 5 points I lost for his 2 RBI's was offset nicely by the 7 points he gave me offensively. I was watching the game closely and happy it went into extra innings although I sure was picturing the 44 point "W"!

3 - Roy Jones, Jr. lost this past weekend. That's HUGE. Best pound-for-pound fighter KO'd in the 2nd round.

Saw Bobby Foster at the Jim Rome World Tour Saturday afternoon. Best lightweight fighter of his time but did you know he was also a cop here in Albuquerque? Mister Buffy knows him so we talked to him Saturday about the upcoming fight. Should have heard him talk about how Roy was gonna take down in 2 rounds, NOT the other way around!! Wonder how ole Bobby is feeling about that today?????

6 - Boston Rob should have won the 2nd million dollars, but hey, he's still marrying AMBUH.

No way!!! Isn't it enough he got the girl and her money? Or I'll bet she already has the pre-nup written out, coattail rider that she is. I wanted Rahb to win the FIRST million dollar prize!!

Best Bahston Rob quotes:

"Ambuh's ass is smokin'!" (Yeah, this line works on ALL us girls!! )

"Adios, Arrivederci, Sayonara. Or as we say in Bahston: ‘See Ya Later.’”. (I cracked up when I heard this one!!)

7 - To put her out of her misery, America should vote out my "cuz". They should NOT have voted out LaToya.

Who cares who wins now? Clive Davis is judging this week and there are 3 songs the final 3 will sing - one chosen by Davis, one chosen by the contestant themselves and one chosen by the judges. If they were smart, they would make Jas sing "One Week" by Barenaked Ladies, "I will Always Love you" by Whitney (the kiss of death for ANY amateur songstess) and something from Metallica. The only reason I dont want to see Jas stick around is to see Paula have another meltdown... that was downright scary last week!

9 - Sammy sneezed his way into back spasms yesterday. No comment from me really... just thought it was funny.
It was reported as such too. Who's the biggest wuss?????

10 - Go Toronto!
Yes!!! I concur!!

I didn't hear this thing about Sammy. Is it really true? Jeez, even I can sneeze without breaking my back. I just can't walk down stairs without twisting my ankle.

Poor midget boy Giles got clobbered again. You'd think as short as he is that people would miss him.

Yeppers. Bethie, I think it is called "old age" with you two.

He was pretty much ok after the first 'achoo', but the 2nd sneeze came on and caused him these terrible back spasms.

He says he can't even bend over without being in intense pain. Good thing, I think there are a few fans who might want to give him a swift kick there.....
