DB:

I hate to break this to you, but in addition to the Blue Jays, we share FIVE (5) offensive players!! Are you scared yet?

What concerns me is I was going to put Laker on my roster as C, but intense (or maybe NOT intense enough research) somehow made me belive Martinez would be C. I am probably wrong. Hey, I do some pretty good research offensively usually - but one of us screwed up here, huh? And being that I am the one in almost last place, hmmmm, ya think it is me?

Don't answer that. I know you don't want to kick a girl when she's down.

Well Buffy, we're sinking or swimming today - either way, we're on the same life raft.

As for Laker vs. Martinez, hmmm... I don't know. It's research vs. research on this one.

Actually, I did the math yesterday.

Had Piazza made an out and Houston won 2-0, it was a 40 point game, so the extra inning loss cost you one pitching point.

But, as Buffy pointed out, and what really affected you DB, was that I had Piazza, and the homer got me 7 offensive points. So the homer, not necessarily the extra innings which were a result of the homer, cost you 8 points.

As if I didn't already know....

What is wrong with THIS picture:

The first place person is 2nd in pitching, 1st in offense.

The second place person is 1st in pitching, 2nd in offense.

(Tight race, guys.....)

The third place person is 3rd and 3rd....(Mister Consistency)

The 5th place person is 5th and 5th.

The last place person is 6th and 7th.

And then I am 7th (dead L-A-S-T) in pitching and 4th in offense.

Hmmmm, I am not certain, but I think I know where my troubles lie.......

This game has the most scummy, stupid, pathetic, worthless loser 0-fers I have ever seen in recent memory!

I'm within driving distance. I feel like I want to go crack some heads.

EDIT: Wow! If you want a few homers hit and some other various hits and runs scored, just call the team scummy, stupid, pathetic, worthless loser 0-fers!!!

8 - Bad Daddy and IM quit last week. Wusses! :p By the way, Bad Daddy, if you're still coming to Chicago, let me know so I can hook you up with those "tourist spots" that you wanted.
Hey do I need to start this with a Wussy Alert

Chicago is still up in the air - but if it goes through I can be spending a bit of time out there. Again all depends on how it shakes out, not sure where some 'burb on the outskirts of the city from what I hear. I trust that if the time comes you will hook me up.

So how are my peeps doing ?? I see all the bad mouthing going on about me - wow and I lost a ton of sleep over it also  . But since it seems that what I said was lost on most of you I'll try it again but SLOWER this time. I said with some upcoming work, it keeps me off the internet much more than in the past. Besides I really only played this for the trash talking that was the fun part. If I can't do that - hell than I didn't really care about the game that much. I played to master the art of trash talking with my peeps.

I did see that IM stopped also and he gets a good luck - I get called a Wuss by PL - wow so hurtful.

I will say though you all keep up the bad mouthing - you'll find yourselves off my peep list. And there is a waiting list to get on it so you better watch yourselves.

Ok ok - that was not completely true - there is no waiting list. Although you never know when being on the peep list could come in handy - updating a resume, Memorial Day family get together's - don't be surprised.

But in regards to the bad mouthing all I can say is your guys and gals - well you can all blow me ...

a kiss.

Oh and just to continue in my ever thought provoking - mature manner ....

Wow - gas must be really really expensive in Da Windy City. :p

And Crabby - you really do frighten me.

The other night I saw Billy Crystal. He was talking about how it's a bitch getting old. He says he pisses in morse code now. I immediately thought of PL. I have been hanging with my peeps too much.

According to the weather channel, it's supposed to be OK by game time.

I didn't think any of the picks were all that obvious. Maybe it's because my brain is going soft from all the comedy I've been playing.

I DO know that the most obvious pick is to NOT choose what Buffy chooses! :p
