Crying over Jasmine?? Nah. Too young for me. Camille, on the other hand...

Alright - only one afternoon game today. Cubbies vs. Cards... Everyone root for the Cubbies, OK! Players getting injured by sneezing, players peeing on their hand, superstar player making his rehab assignment in Single A... what's not to like!

Anybody have offensive players in this game?

To say Whine Alert would be a GROSS understatement....

Evidently in MY world, PPD means Piss Poor Day. Brewers are getting the big goose egg tonight. Therefore I have no choice but to offer fruit baskets all around:

[WHINE ALERT]

Shit...

1) I just realized I had 3 players in that PPD game.
2) Sierra isn't playing again.
3) My $6.7m player went 0-3.
4) My $6.5m player started 0-3. (5 big pts since)
5) My "offense" is riding on Matos at this point
6) AND, Cle PS was -3 (and pitched only 8 innings)

No offense AND no pitching

I think that's the first time Baltimore's PS has gotten the most points.

I know Tom Galvine. I've picked Tom Glavine.

But I don't trust Tom Glavine.

Interesting how the guy from Chicago picks the Mets, and the guy from NY picks the Cubs.

Regardless, I was out all day yesterday and didn't make it home before the deadline.

Alas, my sucky Saturday team had to ride today

The midnight deadline. That's the disadvantage you left-coasters have.

Why don't you just do your team in the morning?

Actually, my deadline is 1 am.

But I was bizz-y from the time I woke up yesterday till the time I got home WELL after 1 am. Sometimes, I just can't find time to be online on the weekends.

I knew everyone I had was playing today so I thought I would probably have to let the Saturday team ride. As long as you don't let the Sunday team ride, right?

Pork - rain delay? Hmmmm, I have no SF-Montreal players. What do I care if it just keeps on rainin'??

It's actually "only" -49 according to the box score. Damn ESPN game screwed up (as usual):

9 IP 23 H 17 ER 8 BB 6 K = -49

BBC said:
10 IP 23 H 18 ER 10 BB 7 K

The old man had too much wine...again. I meant to change Monday's roster. Oh well, I got a pitcher anyway.

If there's one day you must remember to change your roster, it's Sunday, since Monday is usually an off-day for a lot of teams.

Don't worry, though, Pop. We'll get there.
