If you had taken the Twins at -49 yesterday AND had no offense, I would have found a way to bomb

Congrats Douche?

Is the game over? Wait, lemme look...No; Still about 6 weeks to go.

How come nobody congratulated me when I moved back into first a few weeks ago?

I'll just answer my own question. Because everyone expects me to be in first place. Because anytime anyone else is in first, it's so unusual that it merits congratulations.

OK. I'll play along:

Congrats Douche. Get all the glory 'ya can, 'cause you ain't gonna be in first for too long.

And as for you, Mr. Prejudiced Commissioner, who'd rather see DB in first than me:

When I move back into first tonight, tomorrow, or the next day, I better gets "Congrats" too, or I'm filing a complaint with the Commissioners Commission.

Humph.

That was no "whine". A "whine" is when you start complaining about poor performance by your players.

The pros like me never whine.

The above is simply a complaint. Motivated, I guess, by my hurt feelings.

I know I sure do!

Man, I should travel more often - I come back and I'm in first place. And if it makes you feel any better plaw, my jaw was dropped, the skies opened up, rain was falling sideways and birds were flying backwards. Forget about the opening of The Day After Tomorrow - that's today. Today is The Day After Plaw Was Bumped From First Place. Let the heavens rejoice. :p

Thanks for the congrats Pork and Buffy. If plaw's theory holds up, I should be back with the peons after tonight!

Hey, I thought I was his biggest fan. Ok, Douchey, now that you're Da Man you decide. Do we have to jello wrestle for the title? I'll even put my "hooters" tank top on.

Congrats, Douchey. It couln't happen to a sweeter guy.

BTW - Congratulations on your 4,000th post! Like the other 3,999 it made me yawn.

10 Things I Think I Think (ala Peter King)

1 - Went to my first Cubbies game this weekend. Cubbies beat up on the Cards. Great game!
2 - Mondays in this game still suck.
3 - In my order of importance, the most important stats in this game: earned runs, home runs (for hitters), win/loss, hits, Ks, walks
4 - Here's a thought I had while at the Cubs game: Why aren't pitchers errant throws to first base and wild pitches scored the same on the score card? This situation actually happened at the game. Woody of the Cards makes a wild pitch and a guy from third scores. Earned run, right? However, in the same game, Woody makes an errant throw to first on a blooper up the middle. The guy is safe on first and eventually scores. That's an unearned run. Doesn't make sense to me.
5 - Pitchers should just pitch to Barry Bonds just for fun.
6 - I don't care who wins American Idol. LaToya should have at least been in the final.
7 - Sorry for your Nets getting bumped, plaw. 2 straight trips to the Finals is nothing to sneeze at.
8 - I see a good battle shaping up between FS, SC, and LD.
9 - I still think Pork is doing a great job as Commish.
10 - Have fun in New Mexico, Thelma and Louise!

Now, if only there would be a Brad Pitt look alike we'll be all set. We already have everything else. I remember one trailer poster for the movie saying "Vigilantes with vaginas".

Except for the T-Bird going over the cliff of course. We've aready decided Buffy is Louise cause she's the level head leader, and I'll be the ditsy Thelma causing chaos.

Taking plenty of pictures. But only the ones with the special password were seeing them. I don't recall getting any pm's on this subject. I guess no one was interested.

I guess the guy in first place here should get a pardon on that and get a pic. And beings that's you DB, (boy your timing couldn't be better), I'll save one where I'm wearing my hooters just for you.

Hey I'm not around to post for a few days and looky what happens - DB moves into first. Don't worry PL if you get back in first I will there to congratulate you - maybe. :p

And since DB is, according to PL, his ONLY worthy adversary I guess this a bit of the student teaching the teacher so to say. But don't worry PL - you are still the leader in Fantasy Bass Fishing - and that is something that nobody can (nor probably even wants to )- take away from you.

And I disagree with earlier comments that the commissioner is biased - that is not true. He might be a dork or is that PL but he is not biased.

Lastly, regarding being in first place to get pictures - that's not fair, if I knew that I would have continued playing.

As you were Peeps
