You talkin' to me???

I meant to say tough break last night, . When I went to bed, the White Sox pitching score was -2!! I was thinking that Paulie didn't do so bad!

I appreciate your faith in me and you WANT me to rise up towards the top (or at least 3rd), right?

In that case, DB and I must pull out all the stops necessary.

Hey, it is strictly business, not personal.

Yeah,Im talkin' to you.

-2 after 7, but 5 runs the last two innings really hurt big time. And with all those other great choices to pick from (see above), I don't know HTF I ever picked the Chisox.

Yeah, I do want you to finish third, to bear out my preseason prediction, but at this point I think we're gonna have to settle for fourth; at least for the first half, anyway.

OK, I forgive you, I guess. Just bad luck that you have the same PS as DB and I have to root against you tonight.

May the Buffy Pitching Curse reign supreme

Ouch!

That is almost worse than the fruit basket!

The BPC is no more, haven't you noticed? Oh yeah, and root THIS!

Wonder if DB is around or if he made it to Sin City? LV is actually closer in proximity than Chi-town....I can still get the good luck mental vibes out to him and vice-versa.

Too bad these are night games. Bring it on. I'm so ready for some friendly competition.

How about some GIANT 's?

Top 10 Things I Think (ala Peter King)

In DB's absense he asked that I post the following. He knows how you all look forward to them and did not want to disappoint 'his fans'. So without any further adieu - below are DB's Top 10 Things He Thinks ( in HIS words not mine). I am just the messenger.

10. Am I the only one hook on the show WB’s Superstar ?

9. I think this crap of me being PLs only adversary is a bunch of bull. Little does he know I let him win the first half only for the fact that I know it hurts more to lose the second half.

8. I don’t think BD is a WUSS at all – ok maybe I do.

7. It’s funny I have this hot piece of a$$ lady but I still keep thinking of Camille and Jasmine from AI – is there something wrong with that ?

6. Like FS, I also enjoy walks in the parks, the smell of a fireplace, walks with my lady – but none as much as I enjoy my stimulator

5. I have a great life – good job, good friends, above mentioned hot girlfriend – but damn I still have to life in Chicago, ruins the whole thing.

4. I don’t understand half of what Crabby posts

3 Personally, I can’t wait for the fantasy football draft, you know the one that spans 4 or 5 days.

2. I have found myself ‘addicted’ to the above mentioned stimulator. I find I use it twice a day now, once in the morning and once at night for better results – guess you can call that a double header.

1 I think I should have been made the Sports Moderator instead of that Wussy Satan PL.

Plenty of time for this drivel, but not enough time to play?

You could have picked a team for the next week in the time it took you to write all this.

How you gonna run a four day football draft. And yeah, I intend to play.

I'm no wuss. Like you.

You don't understand what Crabby says? Understand this . {insert man grabbing croch emicon}. You know what I don't understand? Who the hell is Peter King?

I will just like to say all hackers must DIE. Our computers at work have been down half the day yesterday and today, and I've spent the better part of 2 nights at home deleting stuff. I know, the idea of me spending less time here with my peeps brings a thunderous round of applause. You can just BITE me.

Yes, I'm biatchy today. Or is that crabby? I hate computers.

I can kind of understand when BigDaddyWuss says that he doesn't understand, because while there was once a time when I could say that I understand, I wonder whether or not I actually do still understand.

Understand?

Crabby people are easy to understand....I married one. . Beth E is like the sideline reporter, we can't see the point, but they inject that entertainment factor. BTW, while driving in PA last week a car passed me with the license plate "CRABBEY". I caught up to the vehicle to see if it was you. It wasn't, the sideburns were too long.

Drivel ??

Wow that was hurtful - will take me a while to recover from that.

Well that was faster than I thought.

Granted this 'drivel' may not have the excitment and thought provoking elegance that your PS stats posts do

Oh sorry, dozed off there thinking about them.

Anyway I'll try this again - abit SLOWER this time. I never said I have no time to play, I said my internet time during the day is very limited now. I could still make some changes but they won't be good BUT that was not the reason I stopped. I stopped because as my online time during the day is tight I don't have a chance to come on and 'bond' with my Peeps. That was the fun part for me - the trash talking. Hell just playing the game and not being able to talk about it is pretty boring - it's not fun playing with yourself.

Oh and two more month's to the draft.
We can block off four more days

And regarding Crabby's question about that I don't understand her. I was just posting for DB, he was the one that said he couldn't understand her. As for myself, I never read what she writes so I don't have that problem. :p

Especially when you're mired in 4th or 5th place.

I would bet anything that if you were anywhere close to first place when you dropped out, you would have stayed. :p

But, as the record shows, you were already 88 points behind, and sinking fast.

Actually if I remember I was only off first by not much more than 100 points. I was at the 98% I do remember that.

That is not too far off first place - so

88 points out of first, like I said above.

But honestly, if you were real close, wouldn't you have stayed?

Maybe I'll post a poll with this question.

Just kidding Crabby. The only thing you ever write that I don't understand is "noone" . [/b][/quote]What have I ever done to make you treat me so disrespectfully? I could make some wise, intellectual remark, to show I'm not just a nitwit misfit. What the hell, I'll just say...

.

Boy, after a hard day's work, all a gal wants to do is go where everybody knows her name. And they're always glad she came. Obviously, this isn't that place. Maybe I'll just go hang flower baskets with FS.

BTW...I believe on the football league site there was a debate on noone vs. no one. Is someone or everyone separated? But then again, you didn't grace us with your presence over there, so you wouldn't know that. My bad.

Touche.

Let me revise my remarks. As far as I'm concerned, you are always welcome here at the Cheers Fantasy Baseball Thread.

I don't recall you ever making excuses for not playing, unlike the un-named Wuss that Buffy was referring to.

What's the debate? I consulted two dictionaries, American Heritage and Webster's Collegiate. Both say "someone" is one word. "Everyone" is one word. "No one" is two.

As far as my failing to grace you guys with my presence during the football season, let me say this: I never understood why we didn't have the thread going here. The baseball and basketball games both have private message boards for their games, yet we choose to post here. Why was football any different? No editing, no quoting, it just wasn't the same for me.

No matter, though. I will be in the football game this year (assuming Big Daddy Wuss has the time to commish the game doesn't replace me with, say, FS), I will do better, and I will post wherever everyone else does.

That was brual. The Giants tie it in the 9th, and I'm thinking "Oh goody, extra innings. Make back some of those points"

All I know is that Kevin Brown was out after 2 innings, the Yanks PS was -12, and Schmidt had pitched 3 shutout innings and was +10.

You want a nightmare, try waking up at 2:00 AM for this stupid game. You're probably just getting in.

Nah, I was home all night, watching a movie 'til just now. But "tweaked" a few hours ago - and really didn't enjoy it.
