Why not? Don't they have ESPN or something at the bar?

A little bit early, isn't it?

I think Thursdays are his Smoker's Anonymous meetings.

Of course they frown upon watching sports, drinking, having sex and anything else that would make you want to light up so he can't be watching his team there.

No fun, if you ask me.

Wow, noone had Wilkerson??

Let's all line up (the ones with Beltran) and we can take turns kicking each other.

He still has another game to redeem himself.

Who was it that said this would be a loooong day?

Good Job Pork in Game One.....how 'bout some of my KC guys slicing a bit into your pie a bit later??

Smoker's Anonymous is great! It's a place you go where no one knows you've quit smoking, so they don't give you dirty looks when you light up!

I must say I was pleasantly SHOCKED seeing my Game 1 results. (Maybe it's good luck for me not to watch!) But c'mon, Texass - I have most of your team on my offense and got jack sh!t so far!! Well, 1 of the 2 homers isn't that bad I guess...

Hmm, Game 2 against that turkey Gobble... let's see if I can give thanks or not afterwards, but I better start with saying Grace!

Oh suuuuure, NOW you show up. Minutes after your game is over. Admit it, you were hiding. Congrats. Wish I had 30...

And remind me again about Jack Shit... what position does he play again??

Good timing I guess :p On my way home I checked the score on my phone, at it was the bottom of the 8th. I thought to myself, great, I'll get home and it'll 8-7

So much for taking advantage of the D-H hitters:

Santiago - 1 pt (probably not playing second game)
Sledge - dnp game 1

Plus 3 TEXANS NOT PLAYING GAME 1???!! (Nix, Dellucci, Fullmer)

Great! My Game 2 starter had to leave the game in the 3rd inning cuz Beltran hit him w/ a line drive... (I should've even be watching!)

Edit:

Well, I've been watching, and was pretty amazed going into the 8th inning, still a shut-out, with 0 BB's (spanning 17 innings!)... then Ayala comes in and gives up a HR to Berroa. But I guess I shouldn't be complaining... the rest of you (well, DB at least!) are sick to your stomachs right now!

One more inning... they better not fuck it up! And c'mon, Texas, I need some offense, k?

Edit:

Expos bullSHITpen! 2 ERs, finally gave up a BB ... not bad I guess for 18 innings

I'm outta here for a few hours... here's to a high-scoring game in Texas! :p

Wow - 85 points. Just think if I would have had a Catcher. Just think if I had had Kendall like I should have!

So DB is the cheese standing alone today.

Pssssst DB!!!!!! The Expos got 54 points YESTERDAY!!! Are you expecting an encore performance?

How boring is it when we all pick the same team?

Oh c'mon...you don't like to see all us little guys claw and scramble and push and shove our way up and over each other?

There is little or no contact up on the first place perch. Dontcha want a little contact sport in your life? :p

btw - I am out of here and out of town at 3:00 today. I won't even see how I did tonight until tomorrow night sometime. Guess I am comforted that most of us will have the same pitching score. It's an all offense day, baby!

The only clawing and scrambling I'm interested in here is the clawing and scrambling being done by DB.

And since he has a different PS than me today, I figure he and I are due for more excitement than anyone else.

More than I need. I'd much prefer him to have the same team as me every day.

Hey, I just had a thought.....I bet DB is in vegas, and he has someone back home picking his team for him. That would account for last night, anyway.

But I like my, um "contact" a little bit more than I can get here.

When you put it THAT way, I would have to say the only clawing and scrambling I am interested in here is DB as well. I would love to see him on top.

How do you know it is not *me* that is picking his team for him while he is gone?

<..and I TOLD him KC was not a good choice yesterday!>

Thanks SC and LD for noticing. A few more days like that and maybe even PL and DB will take notice! :p

Hey look - I'm #22 on the Overall Leaderboard for Week 10. But I guess Plaw will just say, "but I was #4 overall in the entire world in Week 1!" (after 3 whole days)

Congrats Pork...it took balls to pick Expos yesterday. It paid off nicely for you.

Although I had no chance of catching you, you sure put the hammer down, distanced yourself from me and left me eating your dust.

Concentrate on the two in front of you. You don't want to be in third forever. Believe me, I knew once what that was like!!!!
