I don't do slots. Just feels like I am throwing my money away and not having any control over the game.

I play cards of course but I loooove to play craps. Find the right table and you can play for hours. I find it is the most lucrative for me. I can walk away sometimes with plenty of money for shoes! But you have to learn the higher odds ways to play and be willing to stick your neck out there a little. It is the most social of the table games, maybe that is why I like it

Bethie's gonna be mighty crabby when she sees that Cleveland beat Duh O's 14-0!

I know it would not be unheard of to share a few offensive players on a day where there are only 3 games, but gosh Pork - 4 offensive players and the PS? All I can say is:

Good Luck with those players!

And I'm also thinking us 4 "regulars" are betting/hoping/wishing Griffey Jr. hits his 500 (or more )tonight since we all have him.

You know what I just found out... The Cubbies game will be in Houston and not in Chicago... I thought it was the other way.

Man, I need to get over my vacation-lag quickly.

You, Most Worthy Adversary, with a rookie mistake?

Don't feel too bad. It happened to me once this season, but the other way around. I stayed off a pitcher (Sheets, I think) because I thought his game was on the road, but he was home.

And I remember it burned me, too. He pitched well, high 20's or something, and the guy I did take pitched crap.

Hope that you don't get burned tonight.

It's weird... I swear I saw "Hou" next to Prior's name and not "@ Hou" (although that's what it probably said).

My eyes are playing tricks on me. First this, then I see a "2" next to JG's name for plaw's "Offense" summary and a "3" next to mine. Must be a mistake! :p

GRIFFEY ISN'T IN THE MUFFUGGIN' STARTING LINEUP??? And neither are Ledee and Michaels from my lineup. This could be a sucky day if they don't finish that Philly game as I have 6 freaking players in it

P.S. I gotta make a "not happy" version of Waldo -- it's kinda silly how he's grinning when I'm pissed off

Not only that, but there's a rain delay.

I have 18 points in that game already.

Slow afternoon with no day games...

Here are my surprises for the first half by position:

C - Victor Martinez
1B - Casey (although he's been reverting to form lately)
2B - Todd Walker
3B - Mora, Beltre
SS - Michael Young
LF - Burnitz
CF - Ford, Griffey
RF - Drew
DH - Frank Thomas

These guys have been playing out of their minds. Of course, there are surprises the other way - Giambi, Jeter (he's coming around though)...

You're way over the cap, there.

I'd try to find a spot for Uribe at short. Frank Thomas hasn't been that much of a surprise. How about Lawton for DH

Off the top of my head (I could go look at the site and see all the players, but I don't have time now), how about last year's "Surprise Stars"

C - Javy Lopez
1B-
2B-
SS-
3B- Blaylock (I know I picked him a lot)
LF-
CF- Patterson
RF- Eric Byrne (did real well for a while, anyway)
DH- Jose Guillen

That's all I could think of off hand. Fill in the blanks if you like. I'll check for more later
