SC will know why I was there... The L.O.M.T.O weekend

Now, as far as Fantasy BB goes, I had to really pick my team for Sunday on the fly. No computer in front of me and pressed for time, I went for the cheaper PS and more offense, hoping for a DH split.

If DB didn't miss the DH, I'd undoubtably be in second place today by at least 70-80 points

Bitterman? PARTY OF ONE!!!!!

Don't worry - DB....I am no fan of them either. Would suit me fine if we never had 'em.

Just hope you were doing something very fun this weekend to make missing it semi- worth it!

I was working all weekend and buying art for my place. So I guess I lied - I was on a computer for the better part of Saturday (I previously said I was on it for only 5 minutes), but I guess I was so busy I never even opened up Internet Explorer.

Oh yea, I had another golf lesson Sunday morning.

You still chose The Mutts so no excuses, and no more whining about it. :p

At least some of us can keep it together when we're not home. :p

I love double headers, did I mention that? It makes it so much easier cuz you only have to chose from 2 (or 4 - that does suck!) separate teams Quicker than a 6-team Monday line up

I won't be home 'til late tonight, but can't guarantee much energy for chatting...

Everyone's in a head-to-head w/ someone else here tonight -- AND -- no one apparently has the SP they requested?!

B-Jays (PL, FS) vs D-Rays (LD, SC, MC). Halladay has been replaced with Towers, and Zambrano w/ Brazelton...

Padres (JG) vs D-Backs (DB). Blawrence steps in for Wells, and Webb in place of Reynolds' season debut...

Or maybe the site is screwed up, or I saw it wrong, cuz that is weird! We'll see what happens... could be crazy night!

See you peeps later. Carry on.

Apparently, the Scoreboard was innaccurate tonight - original SP's all the way! For better, or, for worse...

It's not the bladder, it's my damn PC. I can't get on the internet at all. I ran all my virus protection shit, ad-aware, etc., and turned up nothing.

I spent 2 hours on the phone this morning with MS "Tech Support", who told me my computer has probably been "hijacked", and that they were "escalating" the problem, and someone from a higher level of tech support would be contacting me.

Meanwhile, the last two days of Fantasy Baseball have been pretty wild, haven't they?

I LIIIIKKKE it!!!!! :p

Weird, I have had computer issues at work all day. Took me some time to even crack this site and I can't access email or my sports sites. Don't these heartless, cruel bastids understand I have to set my team up for tomorrow?

They promised to get right on it

Weirder - I don't remember picking Philly for today . If I had access to MY STUFF I would be able to see what the heck I was thinking. Oh well, this cheese stands alone today.

PS. I picked a golf team for you to since you seem to have a hard time with that.

PSS. Nice job on Monday LDV - 70 pts. I can only dream, but hey I bought a Mega Million ticket today for $220 mil prize.

Thanks DB for posting that!

I am beginning to think that some people are seriously slacking! :p I'm grumpy when I have to work so hard to see my early-morning standings! Guess I am just spoiled

So the popular choice was finger-lickin' Kenny Rogers? Wow...guess I didn't get the memo . I recall I put alot of Rangers on my offense so guess I gotta hope for a VERY, VERY, VERY high scoring game.

Go Blawrence!

The Sox blew a lead allowing the Yankmes to beat them (again). First baseman David Ortiz had a ball break through his glove (the webbing was loose) allowing the Yanks to tie the game in the 7th. Ortiz was playing first only because of an injury to Trot Nixon which forced a defensive lineup change.

The curse of the Big Fat Fuck strikes again.

I don't know if you guys had the same problem that I had last night, but I couldn't see who any of the pitchers were. It made it difficult to see the matchups.

I always look in the morning - and the ESPN schedule had the lineups there, but on the site we use, none of the pitchers were showing all day (I last checked about 7 pm EST).

I basically had to write down the pitchers from one site, look at offense on the other and work backwards.

Did that make any sense?

No? It's still early here.

Scratch all that. What I am TRYING to say is after my fiasco last night (after days of doing really well), I'm not really loving my team today. And the weekend approaches ...and we all know what happens

I didn't go through the trouble of writing them down (which would have made it easier ), but I too had to look at another site.
