Very active crowd for a Monday.

Question is: HUMP: the protuberance or hunch formed by a crooked back; a hillock; to bend into a hump shape....postion #?

I would give you my own definition of HUMP...but it's still a pg 13 board.

Careful with the "crooked back" remarks. I've got a curved spine. But, of course, you didn't know that, so I will let you limp away this time. :p

10 Things I Think I Think (ala Peter King)

1 - I think you guys are scaring the rookie. :p
2 - I side with Plaw on this one - I've never seen "noone" as a word until here. "Nooner" - yes, a word. "Noone" - I don't know.
3 - I'm having a little trouble out of the starting gates for the 2nd half. I hope Plaw's right about whatever people are saying about cream.
4 - As for the slow start, "But I'm gonna wait -- after the baptism. I've decided to be Godfather to Crabby's baby. And then I'll meet with Don Geoff -- and Plaw -- all of the heads of the Five GBB Families..."
6 - You know, I wish I lived in New York. Not because it's better than Chicago - I want to live there just so I'll know when Ruben Sierra and Tony Clark play. You only get so much mileage knowing when Paul Bako plays.
7 - Dedication in Plaw's book:

"I dedicate this book, first and foremost, to my son. Second - to all the gang on the GBB. Consider this dedication in lieu of royalties."

8 - To answer Crabby's question, Pat has a fantasy baseball team very similar to the football teams that we had last year. Live draft - you can keep the players, pick up free agents, trade for players. He wants to know if he should keep your Vinny on his team or release him.

Sincerely,
Your Friendly Neighborhood DB

9 - Fantasy Football is about 3 months away. I figure by then, we will be on our 23rd page of posts.

10 - Being near the bottom sucks.

8 - He should NOT release him. Not yet, anyway. He should have more than one player at each position and play accordingly.

9 - My calender must be fast -- it says it's only two months away...

10 - But there's much less pressure!

For a minute there I thought I still had 199 because I broke even. I was thinking that was a blessing.

What? Did we all do so poorly that we broke the system? Or are the PTB still laughing the arses off?

I see they were late this morning. I notice how quickly Pee had them up once they came in though. He was waiting and on the job.

I don't think Johnson is going to do anything great today. I just have that feeling so I stayed clear of them today. I know the price is right as always. I had trouble finding a PS the last few days. After reviewing the points last night I see why. As always Monday brings us higher prices.

Bethie, No picture in my box.

I had that same gut feeling about The Big Eunich too, FS. Unfortunately, it was the same feeling I had when I decided to pick Texas for last night, so I ignored it.

No pics? Damm...if you weren't in Atlanta this weekend you could take one in person.

Gee Bethie, I hope you are OK after that rather large fall (4 spots in one day). But you are safe now, back where you belong. Check out the new cable box and wide screen Tv. Things are always better with the sinners then with the saints!

By the way I never really heard much about your trip out west. Drop me a line or two and tell me know the highlights when you get the chance.

Atlanta, The hot city of Atlanta. Going for another big wedding and will not be there long, but the city does have its good spots. Getting sick of some of the thunderstorms of the North East. It will be a good break away from everything and everybody.

The fall was rather brutal. But I landed right on top of DB. He took good care of me. With that said, I'm sure he'll be kicking and clawing and anything else to get back with his "peeps" at the top. What's so great about hanging with a metrosexual and cross dressing pork anyway?

I was up late and checked the site at 3 am my time (that is sunrise for you Easterners! ) and the site was still down.

The offensive points seemed to rack up okay by my manual calculations but the site never credited me my 5 points for the LA "W". Thank goodness between then and now it updated. I need all the help I can get!

I DID have this vision of the whole site going FUBAR and the fights that would ensue if our scores were not calculated - especially us with Willy Mo yesterday!

Hopefully things are back to normal...

I hope you didn't hurt the poor guy. He was hurt enough hanging down here in the basement with us scubs.

Maybe now we will see some cream come to the top as Pee says. Be kind and close the door tho.
