Hope FS feels better now  OH YES, I feel so much better now. As someone once said. When you do well, you have to crow some. (or something like that ) Now a couple of stars showing a move up would be nice. Pee, you better get your eyes checked. They seem to always be rolling around. Thanks for posting them! It is not everyday that I get 80 points without a Doubleheader being played.

You would have been over the cap with Pujols, and would have had to have had a different team.
So who knows?

Apropos of nothing, you know what I find amazing? That since the season began, the game site has been calling Barry Bonds "San Franscisco OF, SF". You'd think they'd have fixed it by now.

That makes sense. Steinbrenner does something similar with he Yankees, I think. I'm hazy on the details, but I believe that all of MLB signed off on a licensing agreement in which they share the revenue derived from anything licensed by MLB, except Steinbrenner. He doesn't share, MLB can't use the Yankees name, logo, etc., and George cuts his own deals wherever, and keeps all the dough. Um, up past your bedtime, aren't you DB?

Was there ever any doubt? Still a looong way to go. And if the Balt or Bost PS has a real good day and/or Schmidt gets bombed, my strategy for today could easily blow up in my face. . Believe me, I thought long and hard about my PS for today. An equally spread out 25-30 runs between the two teams today would be nice, though.

For the players who either maxed out or close to maxed out on DH players (PL, JG, LD, CC, DB), here's what I see as the price for picking Javy (or not picking him in my case):
PL: Had to pick a less expensive pitching staff; San Fran ain't a bad pick though; Cheapy 2nd baseman
JG: No Ortiz; Durazo a good pick though
LD: No Palmeiro, Garciaparra over Tejada
CC: No Ortiz, but she did get Bellhorn - a slight upgrade over Roberts
DB: No Javy, but wanted both Ortiz and Palmeiro, gamble on my part
