What you say is true about Beckett, but I figure it's an anti-Montreal pick more than anything. Good luck, really. Oh, wait, I may be too late... FINALLY some back-fire !! :p

I'm shocked 1) I don't care who's pitching, it's at Coors, for cryin' out loud. 2) Unless you're sure he's gonna pitch a CG, how horrible has the Arizona bullpen been? 3) If a trade goes down or is iminent, he may very well not pitch at all. 4) The game is at Coors, for cryin' out loud. True, it worked out last week for FS and Schmidt at Colorado, but still.... [/b] I didn't have a chance to reply to this. Oh well. So, how'd it turn out?

12 points is nothing to be proud of, and I don't consider the Johnson pick to be a success.
But compared to my brilliant pick of Beckett, you look like a genius.

I guess that's the closest we'll ever get to a "I fucked up" from you... but okay, I'll take it. My PS did 31 pts better than yours; so, I do consider that a success. :p

Last night's Hstn-Cinn game was suspended, and will be completed today before the regularly scheduled game.
According to the rules:
SUSPENDED/DELAYED GAMES A game is considered suspended when at least one pitch was thrown on the scheduled day of the game before play is stopped. When a game is suspended, the stats for the game will be displayed on the date that the game was originally scheduled. When the game is made up, the stats for the appropriate dates will be rerun to reflect the completion of the game and the effect on all team statistics. Even if the suspended game is completed as part of a double header at a later date the points will be credited to the original game date. A game is considered delayed when a pitch is never thrown on the scheduled day of the game. A game that is delayed will have its stats displayed on the day that the game is made up.
The above is not exactly what I would call well written, however I interpret it to mean that in cases when a player accumulates points in the suspended game, they're gonna go back and credit them to Friday's scores.
If that's the case, then you guys potentially still have some points coming:
JG: Everett LD: Bagwell DB: Dunn CC: Kent MC: Beltran FS: LaRue, Kent, Pena

Your Ass. Commissioner Working harder to serve you better [/b] That was so great of you to spell it out. I sat here last night thinking "SUSPENDED/DELAYED" is not the same as to make it a DH for Saturday. I had three players in the game last night which hurt, as they were all doing well. It would have made my night that much better if they had compeleted the game.

Just an interpretation; I'm still not sure if I'm correct.
Despite what it says, I can't see them going back and adjusting scores from Friday, but we'll see.....

And what trading action at the deadline...unbelievable! I'm still trying to sort it all out I hate the Mets deals...giving up Kazmir & Peterson. You'd think Benson and Zambrano were two number one starters. OK, I've never seen either one of them, and I'm only going by what I've heard and read, but it would seem that the two guys the Mets gave up have a real shot at both being better than the two guys they got. I Love the Yankees getting Loaiza, though.

Yeah, really, f*ck the Mutts - who cares?? Anyway, Contreras for Loaiza I'm good with -- tho it takes away another "free" decent pitcher from the game I hope he does well in the Big Apple - better than he was previously, this year...

Well Commissioner Work harder to serve us better You already told us what should happen in an earlier post, so how about getting your paper and pencil out and figure out what we should be getting in points. Even if THEY don't adjust it. We really should see as it may effect what you keep crowing about. The overall points championship! You know you just love the statistics part anyway.
