MeyerLansky: indeed thank you buddy ! all the best to you too !
Toodoped: Fuck the ScottB & Button/Zipper Pants sites and fuck their paywalls. This forum gives you everything for free and so best wishes and good health to both JGeoff and TB!
Toodoped: Cheers and stay tuned for more free information.
Toodoped: Cant believe that some posters need to open three different threads so they can advertise their projects, and also talk to themselves with the help of different accounts. What is the world coming to?!
Toodoped: whoomp there it is! whoomp there it is! lol
Toodoped: a bird told me that the zipper pants site is slowly going down lol lol lol
Toodoped: The best fun for me is being the puppeteer of a complete idiot lol lol
Toodoped: ...and screw all paywalls and paying sites. They wont give you shit
Toodoped: GBB rules!
VanillaLimeCoke: Yeah!
Toodoped: Someone needs to unzip lots of zipper pants, so she or it can give birth to the Button Guys lol lol
Toodoped: I said I creep and I crawl and I creep and I crawl And I creep and I crawl creep creep lol
Toodoped: Misery loves idiots lol
Toodoped: Lots of "amnesia"...some people are posting the same stuff over and over, and every time they are happy like small kids lol
Toodoped: arent they cute?! lol
Toodoped: a small reminder...screw all paywalls!
Toodoped: GBB rules!
Toodoped: Anyone heard from @BigTuna? He is absent for quite some time...I hope is ok
Toodoped: Any idiot can face a crisis - it's day to day living that wears you out.
VanillaLimeCoke: Well said Toodoped
Toodoped: Thanks buddy! We should continue fighting against these lying paying sites and to protect everyone on this forum, especially the younger generation or posters.
Havana: gambling
Toodoped: that too lol
Toodoped: these days lots of people that I know lost their families and everything they had because its legit and even youngsters can chip in
Toodoped: Same as the mob paying sites...ppl pay for "Disneyland" and wiki mob stuff, something which they can find it on their own with a simple google search
VanillaLimeCoke: Lousy school violence these days. Not even a 6th of the way through September and we've already had a psychotic violent school shooting.
Toodoped: Word. Few days ago, over here, they caught one teenager with a gun and more than 60 bullets, while going to school. I wonder what was his plan ?!
Toodoped: Damn....the retard slowly became a stalker and he's following me whenever I make a post so he can bump up his own $0,5 "projects" lol lol "IT" is finished and I love it lol
Toodoped: ahahhahahaha
Toodoped: still talking to yourself, a stupido?! lol lol
Toodoped: hahahahahaha I can do it all day long
Toodoped: Cant believe this shit...im off to find some real pussy
Toodoped: aaaaand....the retarded stalker is back again
Toodoped: For those who enjoyed the "TD's Free Outfit Articles 2023/24" thread, well thanks to @TB for making it a sticky on the first page in the OC forum so everyone can enjoy it. Again, I want to personally say thanks to TB, JGeoff and the whole GBB forum. Salut
VanillaLimeCoke: I can’t take it anymore. Everything has gotta change. Or at least a lot.
Toodoped: Screw the world bro...the main thing today is to take care of you and yours.
VanillaLimeCoke: I’m hoping and praying that 2025 will be so much better. …. for real …. Too
VanillaLimeCoke: Merry Christmas
Giacomo_Vacari: Damn, he is posting the same things over and over, nothing new. Watch out the flu is bad this year. January 20th Trump gets sworn in, and hopefully turn things around.
VanillaLimeCoke: Yeah, but they’re already planning things so he can’t turn them around
VanillaLimeCoke: Biden’s pardened over 8000 people, most of which were issued in the last 2-3 months
hoodlum: Yes, most likely 2 piss off that crybaby & compulsive liar now sadly in office.
Jason1969: Hey! After applying months ago, I finally got my button and was accepted as a member!
VanillaLimeCoke: Congrats
Giacomo_Vacari: Where TD been? Congrats Jason

{WHINE ALERT}
You want to see some whining. I took Olerud off my roster, I had Bernie Williams on it last night, but did some last minute tweaking and didn't know whether he would play. You guessed it. I took him off. He only gets a grand slam.

I hate this game. Blah, blah, blah...

I would say {end whine alert} but I'm sure they'll be more to follow.

Oakland/Minnesota into 15 innings!!! CB got a lucky break there. It's like he got a free DH all to himself.

I would moan about having 3 guys not playing, but beings I think everyone had one person not in it I'm sure I'll get no sympathy.

I don't need a time of the month. I'm called Crabby, remember. :p

17 innings for Oakland. And I mistakenly thought a 30 point lead over CB was comfortable. He might get 50 points for his ps before the night's over.

Give me that book "How to pick an offense" for free that you offered to CB and I'll think about it.

MORE USELESS STATISTICAL INFORMATION
(I expect everyone to read and analyze this stuff and come up with intelligent comments other than "Get a life" or "You've got too much time on your hands").
--------------------------------

Bill James used to keep track of stuff like "tough losses" (losing the game when allowing 3 runs or less) and "cheap wins" (winning the game when allowing 5 runs or more).

I thought it would be fun  to figure that out for us, which led me to seek even more useless information regarding not only how many points we get when our PS wins, but, equally important, how many points do we get (or lose) when we pick a losing PS?

So, without further ado...

Code:
                      Cheap Tough
W's Pts. Avg. Wins L's Pts. Avg Losses
LD 516 20 445 22.2 2 7 71 10.1 4
PL 428 18 363 20.2 2 9 65 7.2 3
JG 424 18 363 20.2 3 10 61 6.1 3
MC 408 16 366 22.9 2 9 42 4.7 4
CB 407 16 414 25.9 1 12 -7 -.6 3
FS 366 16 366 22.9 2 11 12 1.1 3
DB 363 16 314 19.6 3 11 49 4.5 4
CC 361 16 313 19.6 1 11 48 4.4 3
SC 221 9 178 19.8 3 14 43 3.1 3

You need the book "How To Pick A Pitching Staff" even more.

You're 5th in offense, only 4 points out of fourth.

But in pitching, you're next to last. Plus, you have the lowest average of points per win, and you're sixth in average points per loss.

My pleasure.

As pitching is more important than offense, that book retails for $14.95. Plus shipping and handling.

If you don't like it or want it, you can always send it back. :p

$14.95 plus S&H??? I should get if for free just for being the sweet, sexy beast that I am.

You're right. Once I've read it and done with it I know my way to the post office. You do get your mail, right?

This pretty much confirms what we've known all along.

LD - Great at picking PS. Not many cheap wins and from her 7 losses, 4 of them were tough losses, so she was right on the verge of having a REALLY good day 4 times.

DB - Tied for the lead in cheap wins. Tied for the lead in tough losses. Translation - I suck at this game.

CB - He either bombs or does really well. Last night was no exception.

What's weird about my offensive woes is I don't have a problem with picking guys that don't play - like some people. My guys show up and then sometimes end up 0-fer's. That was never my problem in the past. As far as the success in my pitching choices - I just chalk that up to it being easier to see the history of a team the longer you are playing. The first few weeks of play are a bit difficult to foresee when you are choosing SP's that haven't played yet or played very few games.

DB - YOU are the one I am surprised with. Any change in your other league? I have been a consistent 2nd in my other league probably since Day 1. I think I have only had one player on the DL (and since reactivated) since the game started.
Maybe I am just lucky in that one...

I have a tendency to wear my heart on my sleeve -
I have a history of taking off my shirt.....

MORE FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF USELESS STAISTICAL INFORMATION

I decided to look at all the Pitching Stats, 'cause I was wondering why I had 67 more pitching points than CC when I only had 2 more wins, 2 more IPs, and a higher E.R.A.

The difference of course, is strikeouts, walks, and hits allowed.

I also figured that checking everyone's total across the board would serve to check my stats as well.

I did discover that MC is -1 from what I calculated, FS is -2, and SC is -2. I'm not gonna go looking to find my mistake (probably it's because I round-off innings pitched), but I adjusted the season totals above.

So, without further ado....

Code:

IPs ERs Hits H/9 BB BB/9 SOs SO/9 WHIP Wins

FS vs CC for fifth place - No guesswork now. Thank me, CC, for giving you the positive reverse-anti-jinx for using the "?" next to your PS. 14 pts from Mora didn't hurt you, either.

I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! tongue lol

I was not gonna say anything about the "?" during the game for obvious reasons. Borkowski has a good arm. I knew he'd get me some k's. 9 ain't that shabby.

Why didn't FS get the ROLF emicon like I did when I picked Texas PS? :p

Yes, but from what I am hearing from (name blanked out here to protect that person) you have been wearing old lady bloomers. Get with the times Bethie. A thong or at least a nice french cut makes it all worth the view.

I have a thong on right now. Shall I prove it.

Why would I want to wear old lady bloomers. It would cover up my belly ring.

You get your points from offense and nothing from pitching. You still have 55 points for one single game. The same as getting 25 points from your pitching staff and 25 points on offense

Unless you get your players from one team and the pitching staff from the others, you can't expect to much more.
So let's see......You picked the Texas PS, and then you picked three players from Baltimore, who was playing Texas.

I got that right, didn't I?
 :p

OH, dry up Pee, you are getting to be a pain again. Yes,I never see you say anything to SC or the others if they do it, so back off or go pick on Bethie and sell her your thoughts. IT is so much better when you aren't doing well and you keep quiet!

He doesn't want to pick on me. Nor does he want to sell me his thoughts, unless he gets the credit card out. I might be easy, but I'm not cheap.
