Of course I'm serious.

"The Department Of Useless Statistics" never lies.

Don't forget, I figured in the rainout as a "day". Without that, you averaged a very respectable 20.1 over that stretch.

What I didn't say was without that 12 day stretch, your record is

4-14, 4.75, 160 points (10.0 PPD, including 2 DHs)

Thanks for the stats, plaw. They aren't useless, at least not for me!

In any case, my scary PS run starts... NOW!

Well, since Friday the 13th has always held a personal special (lucky) meaning for me, I think I will pull an MC and pick a whole team and see where it takes me.

Shhhh - don't tell anyone but I think I am gonna take the entire Kansas City Royals on the road.

Is there some metaphysical law that says when your hitters hit your pitchers suck and vice versa?

Yes. Didn't you get the memo at the beginning of the season?

I love you Doucheman, but you really suck at reverse jinxing. You need to stick with your Top 10 lists.

A whopping 36 for Pedro.

Plus 19 on offense for Buffy. Watch out there, DB......

Don't worry, CC - "Ace Jason Schmidt will attempt to snap the club's four-game losing streak on the road. The 6'5" righthander is 5-0 with a 2.09 ERA away from home."

He's a sure thing for a big game! And since I didn't pick him this time, there won't be any bullschmidt about it!

It appears the reports of Javy's "rest" today were not exaggerated. What a wimp. I hate these excuses they gave for catchers having off. Oh, gotta be good on their knees, all that squatting and all. Blah, blah, blah.

Hey, Javi, squat on THIS .

Are you ready for some FOOTBALL???? Pre-season game tonight between The Ravens and Falcons. The tailgaiters are out in force.

Hey, DB, you may want to take special note of what injury we instill on Michael Vick tonight. You want to make sure it's not bad enough that you can't put him on your Fantasy Football league this year. :p

DB's a Vick fan? I thought he liked....{pause} Da Bears....{pause}

I won't watch pre-season football games. Not enough like the real thing. Sitting everyone good out.

I watched some of the Hall of Fame stuff a little the other night then switched when the game came on - go figure. I was like the only person in New Mexico not glued to watch the Broncos.

But yes, September is my favorite month: best weather ever here; wedding anniversary which means well, yeah good gifts...AND baseball and football on at the same time! Heaven

I picked Vick in our draft last year even with his broken leg. He was my last pick.

So who won last year, I can't remember!!??

I do remember that I finished first in the regular season.
