I generally post the "official" scores some time after 6:00 a.m., and include that days starting pitchers. Then you generally take my post of the official scores, eliminate the previous day's scores and the pitcher's names, and put in the little parantheses. Only today, you did it after 3:00 a.m., so while you had the pitching staffs to list, the scores were still unofficial, and, as you will observe, there were cahnges in the scoring. So I didn't do anything that I don't usually do, i.e. post the official scores from the previous day if they were different from the unofficial scores, and add the probable pitchers for the new day.

You only started doing that recently -- changing my scoring format I've used almost 2 full seasons, adding the minus outside the parentheses, and adding the pitchers. :p What you stopped doing at the same time was making my final numbers official and just adding the PS's at the end. Anyway - You'll have a week to do it your way

Doubleheader turns to single game at Yankee Stadium September 6, 2004 BRONX, New York (Ticker) - Monday's scheduled doubleheader between the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and New York Yankees has turned into a single game due to travel problems. The Devil Rays had difficulty flying out of the Tampa-St. Petersburg area Monday morning in the aftermath of Hurricane Frances, which forced them to postpone home games on Saturday and Sunday. They are currently en route to New York and are expected to arrive at Newark Airport at 5:40 p.m. EDT. The game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. EDT. -- Plaw, head over to the airport and slap'm for me, and all fantasy owners!

The forecast is bad in both cities, but I figured DB couldn't or wouldn't take the chance of not going with the DH's, and if he took 'em and I didn't and they both got played, I'd be screwed.
Of course, if I didn't pick the DH's and he did, and they didn't get played, that would be great for me, but at this point I'm more interested in the safer course.

2 rainy double-headers: TB@NYY, PHI@ATL I was leary about it, too, but figured what the heck, a chance to take. You figure both will get at least one in, and I can't remember the last time 2 games were rained out during a double header. (Famous last jinxing words, right! ) And I figured -- besides having the better PS -- that the rain is moving away from Atlanta and towards NY anyway (I don't know if scores are official this early or not, so will let Plaw do the honors...)

Right now the weather conditions in NY are most roughly akin to a monsoon.
I'll be surprised if they even play one.

Huh?? :p I didn't look at the minute by minute weather forecast but I saw that NY only had a 30% chance of rain and Atlanta was supposed to be better by mid-afternoon. What I actually had the most trouble with was picking pitching staffs. But three words kept me from picking the Yanks - TWENTY TWO NOTHING.
